Vitamin C helps provide relief for anxiety because its properties strengthen your immune system and aids proper functioning of your adrenal glands. A properly working adrenal gland is important for combating anxiety because adrenal glands helps your body cope with stress.
An alternative anxiety home treatment is called cognitive behavioral therapy or C.B.T.. For anxiety the most therapy focuses on facing your fear by incremental exposure. For example, if you are afraid of spiders yu would begin by getting comfortable looking at pictures of them, then move to watching videos, and eventually be in close proximity to a real spider. C.B.T. is based from the idea that fears are a conditioned and reinforced by repeatedly avoiding your fear. So, that your fear grows and becomes strong enough to produce physical reaction or a panic attack. C.B.T has proven to be a very effective anxiety home treatment but it does take courage on your part to face your fear.
