Healing Concepts Of Essential Oils

There are a lot of healing concepts of essential oils. I'm gonna share one in particular that a lot of people don't even think of. Essential oils during pregnancy. These remedies help ease certain symptoms that women have during those awful times of pregnancy.

During the first trimester there's not a lot of things you can do, besides use precautions. This is the time that women should be the most cautious and should read up on anything that they intake into their bodies. For, this is the time miscarriage is more prone to happen. I wouldn't suggest any essential oils being used during the first trimester. Due to the fact Everything you intake during pregnancy goes straight to your baby.

The second trimester you can feel a little safer about using certain remedies with essential oils. A lot of women experience morning sickness during pregnancy. A great way to ease morning sickness is putting 3 to 4 drops of peppermint oil with a little water in the top of an oil burner, it has been shown that inhaling the peppermint helps ease nausea. Another way to use the peppermint oils is to mix 3 to 4 drops with a little water in a spritz bottle and lightly mist on your face. During pregnancy its safe to drink herbal teas like peppermint, and chamomile to also ease nausea.

As you get further along into your pregnancy, the more uncomfortable it gets. You may develop a little insomnia over time due to discomfort. A great essential oil to use for insomnia would be lavender, frankincense, or chamomile. You would place 3 to 4 drops into your oil burner at night, when you feel like its gonna be a restless night.

Now, the time has come, your due date is getting closer and closer, or you could be in a situation where your past your due date. There are remedies to help with giving you a little push to inducing labor. Studies have shown that the use of aromatherapy stimulates the blood flow to the pelvis and can trigger uterine contractions. In order to stimulate contractions make an oil mixed with 4 to 6 drops of clary sage or jasmine essential oil and a base oil such as jojoba or grape seed oil in a bottle. Massage into abdomen.

Lavender also creates a soothing, tranquil atmosphere which can also reduce pain and help facilitate contractions. Use of aromatherapy resulted in fewer drugs during labor. Lavender can be applied directly to the skin, mix with a little water in a spritzer bottle and spray on to skin during labor.Use only the amount of essential oil recommended by your physician, too much essential oil COULD be toxic.These remedies are not cures, for they only help ease symptoms.
