How To Use Essential Oils For Hair

Essential oils like I said in the previous articles can be used for almost everything! What I'm gonna talk about in this article is ways to use essential oils for hair treatments.

Therapeutic grade essential oils hold there promise for people to help with the growth of healthy hair. Whether it may be from balding in men or women due to hormone defficiencies all the way up to basic needs for your hair to stay healthy . Always make sure that you are using 100% grade essential oils not synthetic blends becuase they do not benefit the same way.

Make a custom blend with the following adding it to shampoo or conditioners for women's hair to help stimulate hair growth due to thinning or balding.

8 drops of lavender

8 drops of rosemary verbeone

16 drops of carrot root

8 drops of myrtle

For men's hair due to balding

8 drops of sage

8 drops of rosemary verbeone

16 drops of carrot root or sea buckthorn

Studies have shown another way to help with hair loss is by using rosemary, lavender, thyme, and cedarwood essential oils for scalp massage which will create circulation to promote hair growth. They suggest using 3 to 4 drops of each in one tablespoon of carrier oil(jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, or almond oil). Massage 1 to 2 times daily for about 10 mins. They have also shown that essential oils have successfully treated Alopecia Areata, which is an auto immune disease where the immune system mistakenly attacks the hair follicle, causing the hair to fall out in small round patches.

Note: for anyone with sensitive skin dilute the essential oils even more.

Tired of frazzled ends and dry hair due to climate change? Maybe you just need that extra moisture boost! Im gonna show you how to make a deep conditioner with essential oils. This will have your hair back in tip top shape in no time!

Pour water into an empty bottle until it is about 3/4 full. Pour 1/2 cup of conditioner into bottle with a funnel. Pour:1/4 teaspoon of chamomile essential oil, 1/4 teaspoon of lavender essential oil, and 1/2 teaspoon of rose essential oil into the bottle with a funnel. Put lid on. Shake for 1 to 2 minutes until all ingredients are mixed completely. Let it sit on hair for about 5 mins. Rinse. Do this treatment about twice a week.

I hope this article helps gain your confidence back from those embarrasing things that you dislike about your hair! Try the natural way of healing! Remember everything that you put on your skin affects your body. So go with the safest route, and still benefit from it!
