3. Poultry – Over consumption of chicken, turkey, and other fowl is common in a variety of diets. In fact, many people end up eating this as their daily meal, and the salt and hormonal contents of the food can trigger the health trouble yet again.

4. Seafood – High levels of mercury are one thing, but fish and seafood (especially shell fish) can have a great deal of debris still in the flesh from the sea that it’s caught in. Even though medical professionals recommend eating more seafood, it’s important amongst foods to avoid with gout.

5. Alcohol – This might not be a problem with some people, but beer can really cause problems with gout. It’s important to avoid beer in general, and the over consumption, because it has a great deal of additional elements that only prolong the symptoms.

6. Legumes – Among the foods to avoid with gout is all things legume. Otherwise a healthy food to enjoy, they can be high in purines and really cause damage.

7. Chopped Liver –Yep, chopped liver can have a great deal of bad things. Many won’t care about this one as the people that enjoy the delicacy are few and far between.

Above is just 7 foods to avoid with gout there are fare more options that need to get looked at. Including those that have high salt, saturated fat, and other things that just make matters worse when trying to rid yourself of the pain of gout.
