Okay, so maybe somewhere you've heard of the law of manifestation. Perhaps you've also heard it called the law of attraction, manifesting reality or one of many other terms used for it. But you might be a little cloudy on what exactly people are talking about when they mention it. In this article, we will be looking at demystifying this amazing phenomenon.
In a Nutshell
Cutting straight to the chase, the law of attraction says that what you think about, you attract to yourself. Simple right? But this opens up an entire barrage of questions (usually negative) like "Well if it was that simple, why don't I have a million dollars then?". Sure ... it's natural and it's actually very good that you question it.
The Negative
You might have seen a very popular movie "The Secret" where the presenters suggest that what we think about we receive. Well, okay you say, if this was true why couldn't you just lie in your bed and picture your new car and when you walk out to your driveway ... there it is! Well, the truth is that even the presenters never meant to make people think it was that easy. And just as well whatever you wish for does not come true instantly. It's not supposed to. Think of it as a universal protection system. Hey, let's be honest, haven't you ever been so mad at somebody you wished something bad to them. Of course you have, you are a human, but aren't you happy now that it didn't instantly manifest?
Inspired Action
For anything we really want, we also have to play our part in the process. We need to take ACTION. No one is so naive as to believe that we could just wish whatever we want to come to us. However, (and this is where it gets a little mystical) the action we take is not taking logical action that we sit down and think too analytically about. Instead, we are looking for inspiration to take the right action. Let me explain ...
Let's suppose your current car is no longer suitable for your needs. You need a bigger car. You put it out there to the universe that you desire a new car. You see it vividly as being already here. Act as if it is not coming, but is here NOW. Be grateful and thankful to the universe as if your order has been received and then let it go. This is important, you must learn to let go and not become attached. (Non-attachment is something you can learn through Buddhist teachings or teaching by expert life coaches like Dr. Joe Vitale). You then don't think about it anymore other than a fleeting thought every now and then. In short, you have a light playful feeling about it coming to you, not obsession.
Using the law of manifestation is powerful and a lot of fun. Remember, the more you are desperate for something to come to you, the more you will push it away. Have fun with it. Seek the expert advise of people who are credible in teaching the law of attraction, such as Joe Vitale. There are many claiming to be experts in this field out there. Use who ever you wish, just be careful to select someone that is truly an expert and not just trying to take your money.
