It seems to me that more and more people are starting to learn about The Law of Attraction. If you are looking to improve your life in any way then learning about this will be a fun and exciting journey for you. Although it is not easy at first, I'm sure you will find the many benefits that The Law of Attraction has to offer you. Some people are looking for more money and abundance in their lives, some people are looking for a relationship, and some people are looking to feel better about their life and their body. These are just some examples of how learning about this amazing concept can improve your life.
I first learned about The Law of Attraction from watching a DVD that came out a few years back called The Secret - they've also released a book by the same name. To me this movie was a great introduction to the concept - I remember trying to make it work for me but I didn't have much luck and kind of forgot about it for years.
A few months ago I stumbled upon a website called Spirit Science which has tons of information on spirituality (non religious) and the like which I highly recommend. Through Spirit Science I was linked to a website called Ask Teal. Teal Scott puts up weekly videos where she explains her insights to various topics - I ended up reading her book called The Sculptor in the Sky where she frequently references The Law of Attraction.
I was telling my friend about the basic concepts I got from reading that book and she told me that it sounded like the very same kind of thing that Abraham-Hicks talks about. I then researched Abraham-Hicks and read the book Ask And It Is Given which explains in-depth on how The Law of Attraction works and how to make it work for you.
The basic idea is that we live in a vibrational universe and "like attracts like." So if you are thinking or feeling something you are going to get more of exactly that.
I would like to share with you the basic three steps to using The Law of Attraction below:
Step 1: Ask the Universe for what you want. Be as specific as possible here. If you are not specific enough you may attract something undesirable. Imagine that you already have what you want - how would you feel? What would your day-to-day life be like if you had what you want?
Step 2: The Universe answers and provides what you want (you don't have to do anything here - just believe that the Universe is working for you).
Step 3: Allow yourself to accept these gifts from the Universe. This step is the hardest part - but the gist of it is that in order to know if you are allowing you have to pay attention to the way you feel emotionally. I'm sure everyone agrees that they have good days and bad days - good moods and bad moods. In every moment in which you are in a good mood or "state of allowing" you are attracting all your desires to you. If you doubt yourself or expect things to go wrong - they will.
So the real trick is to figure out how to get yourself to feel good - who doesn't want to feel good? There are a few methods to doing this that I look forward to writing about in future articles. Please let me know if you have any questions and I wish you the best of luck!
