One method of marketing if you are in the internet marketing business is to offer something free to your website's visitors. This will often times result in many sales in the future. Delivering a class through email is quite popular, and potential customers will sign up for these classes regularly to learn more about a topic that interests them. The classes are best taken care of and delivered through the use of an autoresponder, whether it is one that is free, through your web hosting site or by paying to have one.
Autoresponders can be set up to send out several lessons for an email class. They can be set up to be delivered at any interval of your choosing. You make the decision as to how often the class lessons are sent out to the people that sign up for them. Email classes through the use of an autoresponder are much different from just about any other class that you can think of.
There are no teacher or pupil interaction. The teacher, which would be you, writes out the information in which will be sent to the pupil via email. You will then put the lessons in a series with your autoresponder, set the times for each lesson, and the rest of it will be automatic. You can send the lessons out on a daily basis, an every other day basis, or just about any time frame of your choosing that you think will work the most efficiently for your potential customers who will receive them.
The most common use for these classes are to sell a product or service. If you happen to sell dog brushes, you could write a class that will teach your potential customers how to use them and which brush will work best for each breed of dog. The professionals believe that an email class will work for just about any product or service you can think of, especially if you spend the time to make it helpful to the potential future customer.
First you decide what the class topic is, then the length of the class. If you decide you want to do a 3 day class on the use of dog brushes and which brush works best for which breed, then you would load the information into the autoresponder either for 3 days in a row, or you could send it out every other day. Just be sure to do a spell check before loading them if possible, and that your punctuation is accurate as well. The better it looks to the customer, the better off you will be.
The last thing you need to do is advertise so the email address given activates the autoresponder. Always test it by sending yourself a copy of the class so that you can check it to be sure it is what you want your potential future customers to see, and also to make sure that you set it up correctly.
So that is pretty much all there is to setting up an email class and using your autoresponder to pass it out. The hardest part is probably writing the content for the class. There are many different autoresponders to do this with. One way is to use the one that comes with your web host. These are normally free. There are also available autoresponders that you can get that you pay for, usually by the month or year. Another option in choosing an autoresponder is to acquire one from a business that does not charge you to join, but has upgrade options available if their free tools such as the autoresponders don't work for you.
All of the autoresponders mentioned have something in common, and that is the ability to deliver something free to people who visit your site, such as an email class, with the possibility of selling them your product or service sometime in the future.
