The Recaro Car Seat Prosport is a quality child car seat from Recaro, a company that has been manufacturing car seats for more than 100 years.

-LATCH System

Many cars now (from 2003) onwards must have 2 bars down the back of the seat that child car seats can latch onto. The Recaro Car Seat Prosport has a color coded belt guide which helps with installation and to install it is as easy as pushing a button. It also comes with a reclining feature that only works once the seat is attached to your car.

-Ergonomic Seat

Comfort is almost as important as safety when it comes to finding a good car seat. Recaro have made this seat with that comfort in mind as it features soft cushion pads and cushioned harness straps to keep your child comfortable and safe.

What Could Be Better

So overall this is a really good seat but there are a few things that could be improved on. The first is the straps - the shoulder straps need to be a bit longer but there are some reports on some review sites that this has since been rectified.

Also this seat is rather heavy and quite bulky so it is not that good for moving from car to car or carrying through airports to a rental.
