Back pain can be caused by a number of different reasons and while there are some things that you can do to prevent or limit it, there are some times this will happen and it is hard to know the causes of back pain.
When trying to work out the causes of back pain it will depend on where the pain is. Different areas can be painful for different reasons so being able to pinpoint the exact location will make it much easier to treat. It will also give you a chance to change the things that you have been doing and may be able to prevent it happening again.
There are a number of causes of back pain that can be treated fairly easily but there will be occasions when it is harder to treat and also harder to understand what has set it off in the first place. The more you learn about the damage you are doing to you back the more you can do to prevent further pain.
Discs can be a problem and many people who suffer problems find that it is the disc that is causing the pain. With this there is a disc that begins to force its way between a couple of the vertebrae and when they are weak and bulge out the pain will begin. If it a particularly severe case, the disc can be prolapsed and this will affect your legs as well and is referred to as sciatica.
Another cause can be a collapsed vertebra as this will mean that the spine is not aligned in the right way and will lead to bad posture. Often this will happen as a result of an accident so at least here it will be easy to identify the causes of back pain.
Trapped nerves are also going to cause a lot of pain and due to where they are located it can be difficult to treat. The nerves usually become trapped when the opening they run through become much narrower than it needs to be and the nerves are unable to function as they should normally and become painful.
Certain jobs can be given as one of the causes of back pain as there will be some professions that mean the back is being used much more than it should be. Carrying heavy items will put a strain on the back and the main problem here is that even once it clears up, if you go back to the same job it is only a matter of time before the same thing will happen again.
For women who have large busts, this can lead to back pain. Often they adapt a bad posture and over the years the pain will get worse and worse. Once they understand that this can be one of the causes of back pain there is at least a way to deal with it by having a reduction.
Most pain can be dealt with one way or the other but there will be times when it will mainly by medication to mask the pain.
