The American League - East has high hopes of bringing home this year’s division and getting on to the playoff. This hope is all fired up by the all star New York Yankees whose outstanding performance was exhibited during the recent postseason games. The Yankees finished with winning 97 games and finishing ahead by 6 games. The Yankees being at 2nd in 2010s is optimistic with just a season away.

Definitely, team members are vital to the team’s success, not only the question of preparedness but also the determination to bag in the trophy. The team’s play is also important as it dictate the match. The team’s starting rotation is also a must see. It is expected that the newly traded in Michael Pineda and Hiroki Kuroda will strengthen the rest of the starting rotation.

The Yankees has always exhibited their best inside the ballpark and never failed expectations. Despite Yankees’ stats, they should not fall into reluctance since the battle to win the division is fierce. Teams like Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays are just close and also determined. AL East predicts these three teams from their division will qualify for the playoff. But the raising rivals from AL West – The Los Angeles Angels and Texas Rangers don’t have to agree. Competition really gets more exiting as we get close.

As early as today, Yankees is the topping the list of bagging the division. Secondly, Tampa Bay Rays, we cannot take out of consideration how awesome the chances are for the Rays. Third, dispute between Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox, the lists goes on. But, whoever gets to the top three will still play the playoffs with the opportunity of getting a slot as a wild card. Being at a wild card also means doubling efforts to bag the championship in the playoff. None the less, we want our teams to give their all in every match. With records and stats, we can easily predict and bet on the team who seems to have a chance.

With however we want to predict the championship, it all still depend on how well each team plays and on how prepared they are at the ballpark. All we, fans can do is to support, get to those bleachers and cheer for them until end of the season.

Truly, this season’s division is worth waiting for just like what make fans alike have been enjoying and keeping each one coming back year after year.
