Who Can Get Houston Astros Team Apparel In North Dakota?

It is very frustrating to me and possibly others who cannot buy my favorite baseball team's apparel. I would like to dive into some of those frustrations with some detail. Please excuse me if this seems like a rant about poor choice in my region.

Regional Team is Not My Favorite

I live in a state where we do not have a professional sports team per se. However we do have some CBL and minor league baseball teams. Minneapolis is the closest major sports venue within a reasonable drive. When I was younger my dad would look at the schedule to see who the Twins were playing and we eyed those dates and got tickets. Little beknown to my father at that time we were just as close to Colorado but they did not have a baseball team then. I love baseball and for some odd reason I got a plastic football helmet out of a vending machine (probably at Pamida) and the Houston Oilers came out. I was fascinated by the color scheme and the oil rig logo that was on it. From that time on I took a liking to the Houston professional sports teams. Where I live the Minnesota teams are by default everyone from our region's favorite.

Media Outlets Were Not as Prevalent Then

The Internet was just something that the government had control over and thus if by chance any Houston Astros team apparel became available I was there to try to get it (of course I can get these things online anytime, anywhere). There was nothing like fitted hats either. They just had the buttons on the back for a one size fits all look with a mesh back to let it be ventilated. To me it was the coolest thing ever! The only time I could see results of those games was from the newspaper or from the local television stations that didn't have real-time results. I would have to wait until one of the major networks would have the Astros on the Saturday game of the week and that would be the only time to watch them. Did I ever enjoy that but it wasn't fun when they lost the game but being a trooper, I watched to the bitter end.

The Internet has Made everything Convenient

As stated above I can go online and buy anything, anytime, and almost anywhere with all this at my fingertips. Baseball is easier to watch because of satellite TV and the Internet. Baseball is our pastime and it sure is nice to get it 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and any team apparel from the Houston Astros.
