Drum roll please. The wait is finally over. Images of the new Kobe signature sneaker have surfaced and the Kobe VII has officially been unveiled. Wow! It is going to be up to each and every individual sneakehead to determine for themselves whether the seventh edition of the revolutionary Kobe signature sneaker is nice enough to cop or not. Since the release of the low-cut Kobe IV, this shoe has steadily transformed each year thanks to the most innovative design advancements that the shoe industry has ever seen. This year is no different. Why would it be? Nike has too many creative shoe designers with too many creative design ideas than they know what to do with.
Are you ready for this? The new Nike Zoom Kobe VII will be released in three different versions at three different price points. Wait, that's not it. The new shoe that will be dropping at the mid price point will be the first basketball shoe on the market to feature a removable inner bootie. This shoe will be labeled the Kobe VII "Supereme". Wow! Nike is at it again in a big way. Just when you thought the genuis shoe designers at Nike might be caught sleeping for once, they drop this on us. You do know what this will do to us don't you? The inner bootie is removable. That means an endless combination of Kobe booties on Kobe VII shoes. And if Nike drops as many different colorways in this shoe that they have on all the Kobe shoes they have in the last three years, sneakerheads are going to have a lot of work to do to make sure they are accessorizing properly. The possibilities are endless! One can only imagine!
So far two different colorways of the Kobe VII have been spotted. A Black/Del Sol and White/Concord/Black colorway have shown their "face" to the sneaker world. As we all know, this is just the beginning. We are still two months away from the release of the first "Base" Kobe VII that will retail at $140. Between general releases and limited drops of this shoe, there are going to be a lot of opportunities for sneakerheads to use the removable inner bootie and create a one of a kind shoe.
Obviously there has been a lot of speculation as to what this much anticipated shoe would look like. We all most likely have seen early stages of the shoe and it's new intricate cushioning impact protection system. We all knew what the silhouette and sole of the Kobe VII would most likely look like. But I am pretty certain in saying that nobody ever saw this inner bootie coming. That is unless you were a member of the Nike design team itself. This new Kobe VII Supreme will drop January 6th and retail for $180.
The newest epic signature sneaker in the line of Kobe Bryant shoes will be dropping in three seperate versions. This time Nike is not only using it's top-notch innovation on it's perfomance design, it is using it on their unparalleled marketing strategy.
