Appropriate Honey Facial Mask For Acne

Honey is a terrific skin-care substance that should be used by all members of the family. It can be eaten or applied topically on the skin. The latter is much recommended to people who want to use honey to prettify and heal their skin. A honey facial mask for acne is not uncommon among the people who suffer from bad skin. For most people acne disappears when they stop being teenagers although there is a group that has acne during their early twenties. Acne is almost like an ailment that a few people deal with for several years. It is caused by a type of bacterium called Propionibacterium acnes found naturally on adult human skin.

However, it tends to provoke blackheads and whiteheads on the oily skin type. This is the most difficult skin disorder for many people because the blemishes tend to disappear while others are developing. Whereas many commercial acne products promise wonders their magic is short-term. There is a group of acne creams and lotions that make the condition worse. If you have struggled a lot to eliminate acne with man-made products you can give the natural ones a try. Honey will surely be a good ingredient to use in your face exfoliation masks.

A honey facial mask for acne is an excellent choice as well because it is easy to make using easily obtainable food elements. Honey tends to produce amazing results when it is used together with other ingredients that are normally included in acne lotions and creams. Acne-prone face needs regular exfoliation to remove the keratinized dead skin cells, sebum and dirt.

Honey is perfect when it comes to exfoliation because it does more than just decongesting the blocked pores. It introduces many nutrients to the skin including amino acids, riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, antioxidants and minerals. Honey is a very nutrients-rich substance that is made more effective by other organic items added to it to make a mask. To make a good cleanser you can mix two tablespoons of yogurt with one tablespoon of honey and a half ripe banana. Use your fingers to mix the three items properly and then apply the resulting paste to your acne prone face. Rinse it after fifteen to twenty minutes with cool water. Since you want to decrease the amount of sebum produced by the skin, a honey facial mask for acne that contains egg white can be very beneficial.

For example, you can blend egg white from one or two eggs with one tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of yogurt and a half teaspoon of almond oil. Stir to make the ingredients dissolve well and apply the mixture on the facial skin avoiding the eyes as much as possible. Let it stay for twenty minutes and rinse of the face with warm water. Another great honey facial mask for acne includes three cloves of garlic, three tablespoons honey, ten drops of tea tree oil, one teaspoon vitamin E oil and two tablespoons of English clay powder. Mix all of them in a puree machine until it becomes a dark colored substance. Leave the mask on your acne skin for fifteen to thirty minutes and remove it with a clean wash cloth and warm water.
