For all those women who want to stay healthy and fit here are top 10 tips:

1. A healthy balanced diet is the first step to being fit. Check with your doctor to see what your proper weight should be for a person your age. Make sure you eat the right foods for your situation on a regular basis. For a weight loss program avoid foods with a high calorie count. Eat high fibre, low fat foods like chicken breasts and fish and avoid red meat and sugar.

2. Water is important so you should be drinking up to eight glasses of water every day. You will need to go to the basthroom more but this will help get rid of impurities in the body. Lots of water is good for women who are lactating to stay hydrated.

3. Taking Vitamins along with supplements is very important and for sure remember calcium. It does not matter you age, calcium is important. Calcium is a proven cramps and Pre-Menstrual Period (PMS) Symptoms prevention vitamin. For women in menopause it will prevent Ostroporosis. Then there is Vitamin E for a strong immune system and Vitamin E-400 to help prevent those dreaded night sweats and hot flashes. Vitamin E also helps avoid those dreadful aging wrinkles women want to avoid.

4. If you are a smoker, Stop, Now. If pregnant especially as smoking will affect your baby's health. The bloodstream is what will carry harmful content to the baby. Studies show women who smoke as compared to men will get sick more often. Breast cancer is another side effect from smoking. Drinking alcohol should also be avoided.

5. Start to exercise daily, either at home or at work. Walking after work is a good start and whenever possible take the stairs instead of the elevator. When at home playing physical games with the kids is a great way to get in shape and burn calories. Try to start an exercise routine at home including Yoga and Pilates especially when losing weight and a gym membership is out of the question. Cardiiovascular diseases are a risk but exercising will help avoid them.

6. For women stress is a problem and all steps should be taken to stay away from it. Stress causes sickness plain and simple. You need to relax and take time for yourself. Read a favorite book, play a team sport and enjoy friends. Pamper yourself with a treat like new nails or a message. Women like to shop and be sure to get your eight hours of sleep every night to keep the energy levels up.

7. For a women, good looking skin is important. When in the sun use sunscreen at all times as well as wearing a wide brimmed hat. This protects you and can be a fashion statement as well. You could get skin cancer if in to much sun for any length of time. To much sun also will give wrinkles because of aging skin cells due to the suns rays.

8. For women a nice smile is important. Be sure to have regular dental checkups to keep those pearly whites in tip top shape. This will prevent cavities as well as maybe even some bad breath, heaven forbid.

9. See your Gynecologist on a regular basis. Women over eighteen should have a physical, especially a Pap Smear done once a year. If you are over forty the need for mammograms and Breast self-exam after puberty is encouraged and should be done regularily.

10. Using safe sex and condoms to prevent disease spread from sexual relationships is encouraged.
