Homemade lip plumper? The new, improved ammunition for your beauty arsenal.
We've all been to Sephora and gazed longingly at the overpriced miniature tubes of plumping lip gloss, claimed to make your pout as sexy as Angelina Jolie's. I don't know about you, but I usually walk away in search of more necessary high-end cosmetics. I like the foundations and the variety of eyeshadow shades. Now, you too can have a sexy full pout without shelling out the huge lump of cash.
As intimidating as it sounds, you can make your very own lip plumper on your stove top. Though, you might want to keep the fancy pans in the cupboard, this can get a bit messy.
Things You'll Need for Your Homemade Lip Plumping Balm
- Aquaphor or Vaseline
- 5 drops Cinnamon Leaf Oil
- 1 drop Cayenne Pepper Oil
- 1 drop Clove Oil
- 3 drops Liquid Vitamin B3 (Niacin)
- 3 drops Liquid Vitamin B6
- Small Container
Mix oils, combine with aquaphor or vaseline. Viola! Your very own homemade lip plumper. Cinnamon, cayenne, and clove oils are 'hot' oils meaning they irritate the skin which stimulates blood flow and plumps the lips. Use the minimal amount of oil and do not use on cracked, dry, or otherwise damaged lips.
So, now you have the know-how to make your lips as sexy as Kim Kardashian without the huge price tag. Simple right? Take some essential oils, mix with some vitamins (to keep your pout soft and sexy), add a base ingredient and suddenly, you have plump, kissable, gorgeous lips. Want more sexy pout ideas?
