And you will feel younger, too. Imagine what our bodies look like inside when our skin is aging and our posture slumping. It takes healthy internal organs, strong bones, a powerful immune system and, above all, a positive point of view to keep us feeling like we are five, ten, even fifteen years younger and look younger naturally.

Five Simple Ways to Look Younger Naturally

Feel free to try just one or all of these. Some take more time than others but they all work, from the inside out, to keep you healthy and make you look young naturally.

Smile! Smiling will change your brain patterns and release chemicals that slow the aging process. And you look great! Laughing is even better. A happy woman always looks five years younger.

Stand tall. Slumping compresses your internal organs and creates tension in back and neck muscles which makes anyone look much older. Good posture is learned over a lifetime but you can improve yours with practice and strengthening of the “core” muscles in the back and trunk area. One of the telltale signs of aging is slumping and even shrinking in height, so stand tall to look younger naturally.

Sleep. Few people get enough sleep. It's a challenge but critical if we want to feel younger and look that way, too. It's true that a woman's work is never done and we can't seem to get to bed without picking up toys or putting in one last load of laundry. It's difficult to get relaxing sleep and then that alarm clock goes off early.

Yet getting sufficient sleep is an ideal way to let our bodies rejuvenate and our subconscious minds work through dreams and create solutions to life’s problems subliminally. And you don't need to sleep eight hours. Just make sure you go through complete dream cycles that are not interrupted by a jarring alarm clock. Six and a half hours a night will let you wake naturally from your longest dream.

More Ways to Feel Younger

Meditate. Surprised? Prayer and meditation both release the wonderful feel-good chemicals that smiling and laughing do. Take five minutes when you can to go into a relaxed state (known as alpha) to talk to your Higher Power or just listen. Those five minutes will be repaid to you many times in longer, healthier life and help you look younger naturally.

Gratitude. Counting our blessings is a wonderful way to create youthful brain patterns. Gratitude is its own reward because grateful people are always given more for which to be grateful...including looking younger naturally!
