Let Your Beauty Shine!

It's any easy thing to notice a person with a radiant glow. Their face beams, their hair shines, they're full of energy and best yet they just seem happy! And no wonder they stand out when we live in a hectic world full of stress and busy schedules. A person that glows or shines is attractive and is most likely taking time to care for themselves. It is true, health is beautiful. But how does a person achieve that special glow?

Without doubt there are numerous reasons that contribute to a healthy glow. There are the obvious; nourish your body with a diet rich in nutrients, drink plenty of water, etcetera... But along with the obvious there are fun little tricks you can try to give your already beautiful self an extra boost! I'd like to share a few I found that are great and are sure to make your natural beauty shine.

One thing I discovered when researching natural methods of creating a beautiful glow is to take a good daily vitamin complex. This of course does not take the place of a good diet. There are however, numerous benefits directly linked to the health and beauty of your hair, nails, and skin. Vitamins A, B, C, D, and E are all included! I found this to be a great tip to use as it will help you in so many ways you may not even realize.

Another thing that's neat is to use normal everyday foods you have right at home to improve your skin and hair's natural shine and moisture.

For your skin, especially your face, you can make a mask with smashed banana and yogurt or with a little milk and honey. You just stir up the ingredients of your choice until it takes on a consistency of a thick, gooey paste. Sounds delicious, right? Ha-ha. Apply the mask for up to 15 minutes and rinse off with cool water and you will have fresh, moisture rich, radiant skin. Believe me, your face will feel awesome. I try to experiment with these treatments at least once a week, and I notice the difference in my skin, especially during the winter months. One thing I'd like to point out is treat your neck and chest the same as you would your face. Your skin in those areas is very delicate and will benefit the same.

Natural treatments for your hair are similar. Making an intensive conditioner works wonders for your hair. Foods you can use to give your hair's appearance and body a boost include: lemon or lime, egg yolk, avocado, honey, banana, coconut oil, papaya, olive oil, and mayonnaise. Make a paste again and leave on up to a half hour. Rinse with cool water and notice the difference in the way your hair shines. A combination I really like is lime juice with coconut oil, just heat up the oil warm comfortable to touch and mix in the lime. You don't need very much and it leaves your hair shiny and moisturized.

Enjoy and experiment with some of these methods and remember the condition of your hair and skin tell a lot about how your body is doing on the inside. Nourish your body in the inside and out and it will thank you with a beautiful, natural glow.
