5 Blogging Myths That Are Stopping You From Blogging for Money Right Now

Do you really want to begin blogging for money? If so, then what’s stopping you? I say go for it, if that’s what you really want to do.

There are some myths about blogging that totally crushes my heart, because I know how important blogging is when it comes to lifetime traffic and building your brand. Most people have no clue about how blogging works, so they continuously put it down and try to stop others from doing it, so that they too can be left in the dark.

I’ve been blogging for over 3 years now and I can tell you upfront that it’s the main reason why I make money online. I make money online by promoting other people products (affiliate programs) and I get paid by selling my own products. From time to time, I get paid by writing for others, so there is nothing anyone can say about blogging in a negative way that will get me to agree with them. The truth of the matter is, people simply do not understand how blogging can make them money. So they assume that blogging doesn’t work. That’s just like most people that work a 9 to 5 job think that it’s impossible to earn a full time living online, because they are not use to the lifestyle. They are so busy clocking in everyday and thinking going to college is the only way to succeed in life that they miss out on what it means to be financially free.

Fact is, if you’re not blogging to your advantage, then you are losing money and long lasting relationship with your customer.

Here are 5 blogging myths that might be stopping you from making money blogging:

1. Customers don’t read blogs- Excuse me while I clear my throat, but people are on the internet 95% of the time because they want some type of information about something. How in the heck will they not like reading a blog? Besides, you don’t have to write on your blog every day, put up videos.

2. Blogging takes up too much time- Well, if you’re not serious about making money from your blog, you will make up excuses. Is life easy? I don’t think so. You have to know your audience and really get to know who they are, what they want and how to talk to them to build a relationship.

3. SEO is All About Quantity- This is far from the truth, because one single article can bring you thousandths of visitors in a day if you do it right.

4. Success is Measured in Comments- Nope, success is measured by knowing and connecting with your audience.

5. No one reads long posts- it’s funny people say that because I use to think it too. However, when an article is enticing and filled with juicy information , it doesn’t matter how long it is. People will read it and share it. If people didn’t like reading long posts, do you think they will love reading novels? Just think about it. It doesn’t matter.

So, there you have it. There is no reason to be afraid of blogging for money or starting your own blog, because it will be beneficial to you in the long run. Stop listening to people that know nothing about it, and start following your own instinct and start blogging for money today.
