It seems like blogging is the connecting key to everything on the Internet. You can blog to your friends, your neighbors and everyone you know who has an email address. With an auto-responder you can add their name, too. Put up an entire series of letters and you can blog til your hearts content staying in touch with everyone with messages through your autoresponder and sporadic broadcasts.
Business blogging is different from personal blogging. Lots of folks tell everything they know, from the time they eat breakfast until bedtime. The real question for most of us is..... who cares but apparently the answer is "lots" of your friends. Tweeting is another past time that seems to have attracted millions of people, then there's "sokule" and hundreds more ways to "stay in touch".
Some parents fear that their children are overusing "texting" rather than talking to their friends. We've heard of children, in particular, sitting side by side texting rather than talking to each other. Is that OK? Can this create a communication problem for the future? I guess scientific studies will soon tell us the answer.
Many home business owners are profiting from the economies of email marketing as well as blogging to their subscribers with updates and relative information. Usually, blogging success comes quickly to the person who realizes the necessity of FOCUS and staying on course.
What can you blog about that has value that other people are willing to pay you their hard earned cash? It's not an easy find for any of us. Usually, it's the research that you have done, affiliate programs you have discovered to share with your subscribers. Everyone is searching for answers to their questions and money exchanges hands as a result.
Ask yourself the question.... why would anyone pay to get a "blog" post or email message from you? Me? We asked the same questions about our home based business focused on our effort to help people have a Plan B in their future. Most of our blogging is free information and we want to keep it that way.
Internet Marketing is a major player in ecommerce. You may want to develop a software program that makes it easy to do your work and then sell the benefit to your customers. If you help enough other people get what they want, you will line your own pockets with their cash rewards.
What have you discovered while using the Internet that takes too much time? Automation is in vogue and everyone wants the biggest, the baddest, the prettiest NOW. Time is our most precious commodity yet if you look around you'll discover so much waste allowed by all of us. TV is probably the #1culprit of all and I'm guessing that 98% of us are guilty to a fault, no excuses. Blogging at it's best.
I think you are right... TV is our greatest enemy especially our youngsters. Those that manage to escape it for few minutes are caught again in another generational trap...the cell phone. I have to develop a program that keeps my kids in school from morning till evening when they are through with their assignments for the day...knowing that they will not have time for their books when they arrive home. I would even preferred to make my house a no-go area for TV but for the obvious reason.
