Creating Customized Online Businesses – The Secret Key To Success In Internet Marketing:

Internet Marketing is gradually becoming an all comer’s affairs. So is the failure rate; because most marketers fail to discerned one secret key to success – creating a customized internet business. The ‘how- to’ aspect of this concept forms the center of my discussion today.

When you set out to start online business, whether on full-time or part-time basis , don’t just rush out to set up a website and start doing what every Tom and Dick is doing out here.

Ask yourself these salient questions:

First, who is my market?

Second: where do they hang out regularly?

Third: what is their common and recurrent need?

Fourth: do they have cash and are willing to spend some?

This will lead you to realize if you are going to sell to an audience that is predominantly youth, males gender, females gender, professional group, techies or newbie.

Let us assume that most youth in the 21st century hangs out at Facebook

Most youth have common need – loneliness. But it is also true that most youth that feels lonely do not have cash to spend. If they had, perhaps, they won’t be lonely.

So you have to dissect the market further to arrive at a profitable niche.

Who are the youth that carry liquid – spendable cash? Think twice. These are the people that your customized online business will serve.

Perhaps they are the you that out of the college, has a job and is ready to settle down in marriage.

It may also be another group that has difficulty in getting into a stable relationship with the right partner.

They need to get connections they can develop into marriage. To avoid making a mistake, or a repeat of past bitter experience, they may feel a strong need for some sort of guidance and counseling.

Hey, you have a winning idea in your hand, or something close to it.

Run out now and set up a blog website with your niche keyword in the its name and start marketing to this small group with very specific but urgent need, and you will be surprise by your rate of success.

You can approach your market to do any one of the following things:

• To sell products this is easier for beginners – just selling affiliate products to your target niche market.

• To boost your brand awareness – this is for established websites.

Whatever your approach, the secret is to focus on one thing, on each of your webpage, solving one problem at a time, so that the focus of your prospects are not diverted unnecessarily.

With that in mind, you can use any of the following strategy to serve your market:

Soft selling

Hard selling

Up selling or

Down selling

Whichever strategy you adopt if you have carefully dissected your market to arrive at a hot niche, that market is at your mercy. You will make money from them anytime you want like no man’s business.

Whichever way you want to do it, it is important that your focus be a specific audience (market). Do not try to sell everything to everybody.

You can link your webpage to your other pages on the same subject as the prospects that visit your home page may come with hope of sourcing for a product to compliment one aspect of the main product he already bought from you or elsewhere.

Never link to another website selling a different product, if you do so you have lost the costumer forever. But if your pages interlinked to complementary products, they see you as an expert on the subject – providing integrated solution for your lucky visitors.

Again whatever your approach, 'keep your fingers crossed' and watch your competitors.

How do you do this? Type in the keyword of your blog or website into the search engine; all those sites that appear on top of yours are your competitors. They are the ones who are taking away your visitors and your money too!

Visit these sites one after the other and hang around a little to learn one or more things that they do which you don’t. Go back home and copy them, but maturely and not exactly. Add some variations that they are missing and give details where they don’t.

Always set up your website to load up fast.

Most people online are very impatient for various reasons. They are always erratic. Ensure that your page load faster than your competitors. To do this successfully, avoid too much graphics on your webpage.

Before now the idea was to set up a very beautiful and attractive website. But that thinking is now behind us, in the 20th century.

Nowadays people like sites that load up fast, beauty not-with-standing. Period.

A lot more can be say on this but the thick and thin of it is: set up your blog or website to serve a small audience with very specific and recurrent urgent needs. Your market is such that have liquid cash. Yes, this is customize online business and the secret key to success of internet marketing in this 21st century.
