Illusion on the grandest scale beyond the comprehension of the puny human mind may have been in progress since the beginning of our concept of time. Consider that nothing is real in the way that we consider reality but everything may be an illusion created my a masterful supreme being or a manifestation of his thoughts and dreams.
Just as the creator is a spirit being so are we spirit beings and our fleshly bodies are only part of the great illusion, figments of the imagination of the all powerful one created for his amusement and understanding for our less capable mental ability.
Although we can feel and touch seemingly substantive objects that appear to be real even the hardest substances known to mankind are composed of tiny microscopic particles that are independent of each other. Everything in the universe has this same structure so technically nothing is actually solid, further proof that it is all an illusion in the grand scheme of the master.
But it all seems so real you are probably thinking, how can it just be an illusion. That is the power of illusion, without reality it is nothing and can't even be perceived by the human mind and ceases to exist, at least for us. And keep in mind that it is the ultimate illusion created by the master. Illusionist like David Copperfield and others are mere amateurs in comparison to the master of all that is and ever will be.
In what I assume was a dream state I floated through empty space in a sea of seemingly water like substance that was not wet and that I could not feel yet it appeared to be water. I had a sense of searching for something that I could touch and hold but each time I neared anything that looked real and tried to hold or touch it the result would be like trying to hold a vapor. At one point I encountered a small island covered with bamboo and scrambled onto it with relief only to experience dismay as it slowly vaporized leaving me back in the sea of illusion.
What does it all mean, am I a crazy old man at the mercy of my own imaginations or is my mind leading me deeper into the mysteries of the universe into territory that was not intended to be explored or understood by the human animal. May be best to just enjoy the illusion if that in fact is all there is and not question the powers that be.
Live life to the fullest as though today were the first day of the rest of your life!
