Why is it that we are so hung up about decisions? About making decisions?
By chance we have our Grandchildren staying again this weekend, It's our sons' birthday so it gives them a chance to go out for the night and have a good meal.
During the day, watching the kids, they are three and eight by the way, I was amazed, not by what they were doing but with the speed at which they changed from doing one thing, or being one person, to doing something totally different or being some other person.

One minute they were riding bikes, the next they
were gardening then they were fighting and there was no gap between the three states; there was no time for any decisions to have been made!

It was instantaneous, the second the thought was there, they were doing it, whatever it was! Cycling, arguing or gardening, no decision, no pondering, the idea and then straight into it!
We are far too prone to deliberation, both in our lives in general and our businesses specifically. By and large I think that we should be more 'of the moment', more childlike in our business.
Instead of thinking about something for three weeks, making a considered decision and taking action, with the result that said action was either beneficial or not. Get the idea, put it into operation right away (no consideration and therefore no decision required), the action will still be either beneficial or not but we have saved three weeks! (Or three months, or a year! I know how indecisive I am!)
In Marketing, of whatever stripe it may be but especially where the Internet is involved, action is the important factor. In the (modified) words of a famous advertisement of a few years ago "JUST bloody DO IT!"
We have, at our fingertips, and almost instantaneous means of communication, why waste it by taking months to come to a decision. DO IT NOW!, and if it doesn't work out, make some changes! At least you are further along than you would have been if you were still deciding!
