The Kardashian fashion line took the nation by storm last year and their recent holiday season sales successes have inspired the famous reality siblings to launch a new venture in 2011. The Kardashians, known for their reality television antics and occasional celebrity stumbles made a splash in 2009-2010 with their multiple boutique stores (known by the brand DASH with locations in Miami, Calabasas, and New York). Now with the addition of a powerful department store ally the Kardashions aim to be busy again this year and it is my belief internet marketing specialists are hoping to cash in as well.
Creating the Initial Kardashian Fashion Line It stands to reason that the enormous popularity of the girls and their reality Tv series would ultimately result in the creation of a Kardashian fashion line, and the girls did not disappoint, launching the first DASH boutique store in Calabasas back in 2006 (source: Mahalo.com). Fast forward a few years and two stores later and the trio of sisters really seem to have hit their stride.
Opening of the New York Store an Eye Opener While all entrpreneurs expect smashing success with their grand ideas, I'm sure few people expected the popularity of the New York store to be such a stunning success - including the sisters themselves. Sales figures in the New York store are not official as of this writing but sources indicate the Soho boutique grossed an average of $50,000 daily after their initial opening November 3, 2010 and the store had difficulty keeping up with demand (source: TMZ.com, 11/29/10). Say what you will about the East Coast, but we sure do devour our favorite fashions.
Creating a Kardashian Fashion Line for the Masses The stunning success of the upscale boutique stores (particularly Soho) didn't go unnoticed, and now the upscale stores will be joined by a separate juniors line at Sears (Source: Suntimes.com 1/13/11). This is of particular interest to internet marketing specialists hoping to cash in on the clothing line aimed squarely at teens with disposable income. The line is expected to hit stores sometime in August 2011. Affiliate marketers will be hoping the Sears affiliate program includes the sisters' new clothing line and accessories.

Ordinary people will likely be able to promote the new juniors line. Promoting something like the Kardashian fashion line does not require a celebrity name. Click here to learn why having a celebrity name can detract rather than increase sales.
