Breast cancer is a global phenomenon and women of all ages are at life time risk of developing this cancer as this disease does not recognize any limit of age. A large number of people around the world are trying to prevent women from this deadly disease but still no solution of this problem is being invented. There are a number of ways through which the risk of cancer can be decreased to a great extent some of them are given below

Eat Healthy

Food that we eat has a strong impact on health similarly food has a strong link with the risk of breast cancer. Women who eat healthy food throughout their life have less risk of being affected by the disease. If a female consume fat for whole of the life and quit its use immediately it can’t reduce the risk because body has stored plenty of fats and can’t be burnt at once, but it’s not too late to quit the use of saturated fats and junk food to avoid further complications.

Women should eat plenty of fruits and vegetables so that they get vitamins and minerals to be in good state of health. These nutrients are essential for overall health when overall health is good there are less chances of being affected by different diseases so similarly chances to get affected by breast cancer also decreased. Healthy food keeps the person fit and chances of obesity are also decreased by eating healthy food.

Increase Physical Activity

You should not be passive and to avoid physical movement as being inactive makes you obese and increases your risk of being affected by different diseases and especially by breast cancer. It is reported that obese women are diagnosed mostly with this cancer as estrogen level increases in obese women and high level of estrogen puts a woman at increased level of breast cancer. Physically active women not only improve their overall health, but reduce the risk of breast cancer as well.

Be Breast Aware

Women need to be breast aware for the sake of their health and safety. Awareness helps in detection of abnormalities and breast aware women can catch them as they occur easily as compare to unaware ones. Breast examination is essential for being aware as improves the knowledge and information about the characteristics of breasts. Self breast check is the most effective way to increase awareness of women so it should be done on monthly basis.
