2 Essential Steps For Great Workouts

So it’s past the beginning of the year now and we’ll be approaching the time period where about 60% of people with New Year’s resolutions have failed. It’s caused me to reflect a lot on my personal fitness goals and my responsibilities as a soccer coach to help the individual members of my team be their personal best. Strength and conditioning play a big role in preparing these players to perform their best. My thoughts have centered around two important aspect of a good workout—pre and post workout nutrition.

In my search for pre-workout nutrition it’s been interesting to find that Coconut Water has higher electrolyte content than the most popular sports drinks on the market. Additionally, I’ve been able to find natural blender recipes for sports drink smoothies that are packed with nutrients helpful to prepare for a workout and that taste pretty good too. Adding Coconut Water to these smoothies has helped me create an ideal drink for my pre workout routine.

The second aspect that I’m focusing on is essential to be able to stick with great workouts and it’s the recovery part of a workout. There are too many times in my history of working out that I have not considered this as an integral part of taking good care of my body and prepping for the the next day’s routine. It becomes a continual process of preparation to doing a workout the right way for the best results. Again, I’ve found great solutions in recovery blender drinks that meet key requirements for my body to recover properly from a nutritional approach.
