3 Best Abs Workout Exercises To Help Achieve Six Packs!

There are three abs workout exercises that you can do. These workouts start out easily and tend to get harder along the way. While hanging leg raises are very much effective in working the lower abs, it is wrong to start with this exercise. You should start with the right lower abs workout listed here first before proceeding to other ones.

Three Effective Exercises

1. Bent Legs, Lying Leg Raises - This is the best exercise for beginners. You have to do five sets of lying leg raises when you lie down against the floor. It is very important that you maintain your legs at a 90-degree angle. This will make your movement smaller, which is crucial. You will discover that these movements are not that hard to perform. Begin with 5 sets of 10 reps each. Do these workouts twice per week and in every week perform another rep per set up of five sets involving 20 reps for each? You need to take a 60 second break in each set. Make sure that the break is not longer than 60 seconds or else this is not going to be effective.

2. Lying Leg Raises and Planks – After five sets of 20 reps of lying leg raises, you can now proceed to this exercise. You are going to follow the same routine as with the very first exercise. The first week begins with 5 sets of 10 reps and then you will add some reps per week until you reach 5 sets of 20 reps. After this lying leg raises sets, do 2 sets of planks. Hold this plank position for two minutes, rest for 60 seconds and then do the procedure again.

3. Using a Chin Bar for Hanging Leg Raises and Planks – You have to make sure that you can do the second exercise before you perform this exercise. You need to perform the routine in order to progress to this exercise. You have to slowly improve your abs workout exercises to 5 sets of 20 reps each. You will probably need 6 months before you can proceed to this exercise. Right after the hanging raises do 3 sets of planks. Stay in the position for 2 minutes. You may also have to do the planks on curve legs first so that you can get used to this exercise before doing them with straight legs.

All of these exercises are the most effective ones for great looking abs. These will help target the lower abs and these will also define the whole of your torso. No other types of exercises will be able to give you the best results than these. Based on the book “Convict Conditioning, “by Paul Wade, 5 sets of 20 reps of hanging leg raises will result to rock and solid ab muscles. Therefore, make sure that you do all of these abs workout exercises step by step to achieve your goals.
