3 Great Kettlebell Exercises For Your Abs!

There are a lot of misconceptions about ab exercises. For example, did you know that it takes 250,000 crunches to burn off a pound of fat? In addition to that other common ab exercises such as sit ups also provide little results. The biggest problem isn't the exercise itself, but rather the layer of fat above your abs that prevents them from showing. The key is to get rid of that fat.

But there is one specific tool that if added into your regular ab exercises will get you results way faster than normal training, and that tool is a kettlebell. Here are 3 great kettlebell exercises for your abs that you can do right away to melt that fat and finally get those abs to show!

1. Do regular sit ups BUT add a kettle bell to the mix by placing the handle of the bell on your chest. Start doing sit ups without having the kettle bell leave your chest. You'll not only find this exercise very challenging but also extremely effective in getting ab results. This exercise increases the effect of the sit-up motion by many times which translates into greater fat burn. A fair warning though, you will get tired a lot faster!

2. When doing kettle bell sit ups, make sure to not have anything holding your legs in place and when sitting up, use your core's strength not only to sit up but more importantly to keep your legs in place. This ab exercise adds to the difficulty, but at the same time makes results occur much faster.

3. Add the kettle bell ingredient to all your ab exercises! There are many different ab exercises, but as we already know, most of them, especially the most common provide very little results. But as soon as you add the kettle bell to the mix, the results will occur much faster. Here's why:

Adding this tool to ab workouts not only adds more difficulty to completing the workout, but also makes your body use more muscles and energy to complete the workout. The more muscles working in your body, the greater the overall result!

Kettle bell exercises aren't only useful for just ab workouts. They provide incredible strength training results and have also recently begun being used in cardio workouts, including kickboxing and mixed martial arts. Kettle bells in any workout enhance the overall effect of the exercise many times over and should be used by anyone who is serious about getting great results!

Another great perk of these handy tools is that they are great for women because they provide lean muscle build in all areas of the body, especially the legs, glutes, arms and the core, places that are all important for the female body!
