If you are looking for advice on the best supplements for building muscle then look no further, I have created the ONLY supplement list you will need to build the best body you can without resorting to illegal steroids and the like. Of course there are other supplements that are available which can help you along the way but there are some supplements that you just must have

The Holy Grail List

I like to call my list the holy grail of best supplements for building muscle, because unless you incorporate these into your diet then it's as if you were trying to drive your car without fuel..........You will get nowhere fast

1. PROTEIN - Protein is the building block of muscle, without consuming enough protein, you will not see any gains in your exercise regime. A good whey protein supplement will also have BCAA's added (Branched Chain Amino Acids) A recommended amount of protein to consume is between 1-2 grams of protein per pound of body weight daily, now this may seem a lot but a good protein supplement will give you between 30 and 40 grams per shake so you won't be tied to the kitchen mixing shakes all day. Whey protein leads to lean muscle gains, faster muscle repair and loss of body fat by raising your metabolic rate, that is why protein has to be my number one choice at the top of the list for best supplements for building muscle.

2. CREATINE MONOHYDRATE - Creatine is completely natural and is found in small amounts in certain foods we already eat, such as red meat, however to get the amount required to assist you in building muscle you would have to consume these foods all day everyday. Creatine leads to increased water retention in the muscles being worked and supplies the muscles with the energy needed when exercising

3. GLUTAMINE - Helps with the synthesis of protein and it may increase the production of HGH (Human Growth Hormone) by stimulating the pituitary gland. Glutamine also decreases recovery time of muscle soreness after intense workouts, and improves the nitrogen balance in our bodies. Glutamine is found naturally in foods such as eggs, fish and dairy products, but again to get a recommended dose, supplemetation is required

4. FISH OILS - The benefits of a good fish oil supplement are far too numerous to list in an article such as this, but they contain EPA and DHA which are Essential Fatty Acids that the body requires to function at it's best. Fish oils can inrease and maintain a high testosterone level in our body. Fish oils are also said to reduce the amount of body fat. As the western diet does not contain enough oily fish intake, a good supplement is necessary. There are many on the market which you can browse yourself.

5. MULTI VITAMINS - If you are exercising regularly then its a safe bet to assume that you are not consuming enough vitamins and minerals found in your regular diet, again the benefits of a good multivitamin are too numerous to list here as they are used in every function in the body, a slight deficiency in any one of them and your body is not performing as well as it could
