It's no secret, gaining muscle is as much about what you eat as it is about working out. They go hand in hand, and you can't have one without the other. You can eat right all day long but without the workout you will have no muscle to show for it. In the same hand you can workout every hour of every day, but without eating right your body will never be able to hold onto that muscle like you want it to. But let's be honest, you can find a great workout anywhere, but finding the best muscle building diet can be a little tougher.

The trick to gaining muscle is to keep adding protein to your body faster than your body is able to break it down. Because your workouts need to be intense, your best muscle building diet needs to have a lot of protein. There are three ways that you can do this. You can rely solely on heavy diet changes, eating protein based meals and watching everything that you put in your mouth. Or, you can just drink plenty of protein shakes before and after your meals. But most people find that they get the best muscle building diet when they add both eating protein foods and a nice protein powder to their workout routine.

The best muscle building diet is not like most diets where you have to eat strange food you have never heard of. Instead, it is a diet filled with foods that you can easily find at any grocery store and you have probably been eating your whole life. For starters, you need eggs with the yolks in place. Eggs aren't just a good source of vitamins, they are also essential for building muscle. You also want to look for fat free cottage cheese, and white meat turkey, which both pack a great protein punch in your best muscle building diet. But you aren't just worried about building the protein, you also want to keep the protein you already have, so eat Omega-3 foods as much as possible as this slows the breakdown of protein in your body. You can easily find many other foods that are high in protein and great for your best muscle building diet.

Once you have your foods picked out, it is time to look at your protein. For your best muscle building diet, you want to find a powder that is going to help to build your muscles while helping you with fat loss. Any protein powder would be a good addition to the best muscle building diet, but you might want to look into Whey Isolate powder. This is more expensive than most powders, but it is also an extremely pure form of protein and it is absorbed by your body very quickly. For many bodybuilders, this is a staple to their best muscle building diet.

Remember, the best muscle building diet for you is going to require protein. There is just no way around it. So you want to fill your diet with protein rich foods, and choose a great protein powder. Combining your best muscle building diet with great workouts will give you results in record time.
