Does the Flex Belt Work? My Personal Flex Belt Review

A little over a month ago, I decided to purchase the Flex Belt after seeing it on TV. Although I haven't had great experience with ab belts in the past, I heard that this one was FDA approved and actually backed by a number of fitness researchers.

And since I've bought this product, many people have asked me: "does the Flex Belt work?"

I decided to put together this Flex Belt review to help answer that question for anyone interested in buying it.

In this article, I'm going to discuss how the Flex Belt works, how to maximize your results with, and who it is NOT suitable for. At the end of my review, I also provide info on where to buy the Flex Belt so you don't get ripped off when you buy it online.

How Does The Flex Belt Work?

The Flexbelt is basically a device that you strap to your stomach to work out your abdominal muscles. Using electric muscle stimulation (EMS) technology, it works by sending electrical impulses through a series of gel pads that are touching your abs. When your muscles receive these electrical pulses, they are forces to expand and contract repeatedly.

After 30 - 40 minutes of use, your abs will have received hundreds of contractions, thus allowing them to achieve an intense workout. These workouts are supposed to stimulate muscle growth, thus allowing you to achieve more pronounced and tones looking abs.

Ab belts are marketed towards people that don't have the time or energy to do regular ab workouts, and would rather achieve stronger abs while getting other work done around the house.

Now for many people, these product would seem too good to be true. Achieve a six-pack without doing any crunches or sit-ups? Sign me up please!

But there are a few things you should know about the Flex Belt before you decided to purchase it.

My Experience

Before buying this product, it is a good idea to find out what others think of it. Since I've actually used it for over a month, I figured I could give a bit of insight regarding its effectiveness.

The first time that I strapped the Flex Belt on, I was immediately skeptical it would work as advertised. After all, being able to achieve a six-pack with relatively little work seemed like a scam to me!

But since I bought it through the official seller, it was backed by a 30 day money back guarantee. If I didn't see the results I desired, I could always send it back for a refund. So really, I had nothing to lose.

Anyways, it took me a second to get adjusted to my body (although this probably would have been quicker had I decided to look at the instructions first). I turned it to a medium intensity setting and immediately felt it kick into action.

It was a pretty interesting feeling having your abs stimulated by a series of electrical impulses. It wasn't painful, but it was slightly uncomfortable for the first little while. Despite the initial discomfort, I did manage to get some work done on the computer, and a half hour later I turned the device off.

I noticed that my abs were a bit sore after the first use. Clearly my abs had undergone a bit of a workout. So I kept at it for the next month, curious what my results would be.

After one month it was time to see how well the Flex Belt worked in toning my abs. I would upload some before and after photos, but unfortunately this website doesn't allow me to have more than one photo up at a time.

However, I will say that my abs were definitely more toned looking and I noticed more strength in my core. Clearly the Flex Belt was working after just a month of use, and it can indeed get you closer to achieving a six-pack. Was it faster than doing ab workouts four days a week? Probably not. But considering it took very little time out of my schedule to use the Flex Belt, the results were well work it.

How To Maximize Your Results

So clearly the Flex Belt can stimulate abdominal muscle growth. But what a lot of people don't realize is that in order to get your abs to pop out, you also put some effort towards cutting fat. This doesn't mean you need to go for a vigorous jog everyday. But it does mean you need to adjust your diet to reduce junk food and get in a little bit of exercise every week.

This will help remove that layer of fat in front of your abs and allow them to show through when you have your shirt off.

Who Is Flex Belt Best For?

If you're looking for a fast and lazy way to achieve six-pack abs, Flex Belt is not for you. There is no product on the market that can do that for you.

Does the Flexbelt work? Yes, but you have to be willing to eat healthier and get in a bit of exercise every week to supplement your ab workouts. After a month straight of doing that, you will be genuinely impressed at how your abs feel and look. Don't expect a six-pack after a month. But do expect stronger and bigger looking abs.

Many ab belts have come and gone over the years, and unfortunately most of them don't work. Consequently, the Flex Belt is one of the only ab belts that actually works, and can help you achieve stronger, more ripped looking abs.

I'm not going to go into any of the scientific studies on this product, but there are a few articles out there that go through the scientific literature a bit on this product. If you're interested in learning more about what fitness researchers say about it, I highly recommend you check out some scientific studies.

In the end, the Flex Belt can be a great product if used properly. It is not a miracle worker, but it can help you grow closer to your ab goals. If you're looking to buy it, however, I recommend you get it from the official seller. Not only do you get a 30 day money guarantee, but you get piece of mind knowing you bought the right product (some people have claimed getting counterfeit items from places like eBay and Amazon).

A few articles I came across provided helpful buying information for the Flex Belt. Do your due diligence before buying it, and always keep your eyes open for special deals from the official seller.
