Get Ripped Abs

Ever wanted to get that body that everyone turns to admire, like all those body builders, are you a bit overweight and you're looking to lose some weight and tone your body and maybe even get ripped abs and have the body you've always wanted?

It's possible you know, you can have a much more toned shaped body with the right exercise and nutrition, you also have to be totally motivated. Motivation is one of the most important aspects of achieving your goal.

To get ripped abs you first have to burn the belly fat, you see we all have a six pack their just hidden under the belly fat, so to get them to show you first have to get rid of that belly fat.

Many people trying to get ripped abs overlook one important factor and that is, diet. Diet is the main factor when trying to get those six pack abs. They say that diet is 90% of to getting the best results. Getting the six pack is not found in some magical pill or doing thousands of crunches.

What you need to do to get ripped abs is to focus on solid nutrition and leave those other shiny things alone. With good nutrition you will be doing your body a favor and you'll be burning fat.

Here are some steps to ensure ripped abs:

  1. Eat more protein: Protein will help you burn fat and build strong lean muscle. Protein has a higher amount of thermogenic affect for the body. This burns lots of calories which is good for you.
  2. Eat Carbs Before A Workout: There is a theory going around that eating carbs will increase more fat, that has to be dismissed and a whole new outlook should be entered into. The fact is carbs like, brown rice, sweet potato, and oatmeal can play an important part in your quest for six pack abs.
  3. Eat Heahlthy Fats: You should include healthier fat like monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats in your diet. Like, natural nuts, butter made from nuts, fish oils and of course olive oil. These sources of fats will help your insulin to remain at a healthy level which in turn help you reduce stomach fat. Don't be scared of these fats, eat wisely and you'll start to see those six pack abs.
  4. Focus On Your Diet: To reveal those six pack abs it's important to eat a balanced diet, which is made up of, protein, healthy fats and some carbs. Working out exactly how many carbs to eat can be tricky, but the best rule of thumb is to eat post workout.
  5. Stop Doing Tons Of Crunches: Doing multi-joint and body movement exercises will burn more fat then heaps of crunches. Instead do exercise like, barbell squats, dumbbell lunges, barbell dead lifts, military press, dips, bench press. Do your abs exercise for 20 min 2 times per week.

Well there you have it a total new look at getting ripped and and see those six pack abs, stick at it and you'll soon see a vast difference in your physique and your ripped abs.
