It might seem like mere vanity at first glance, but having six pack abs will make your life better in more ways than you can imagine! Here are just a few of the many arguments for how having six pack abs will make your life better!
You will be more sexually appealing! A toned to ripped stomach is a strong sign of good genetics and an active lifestyle. The primal part of the brain(which by the way, rules our sexuality) picks up on these signs and tells us that this is a good mate! I will have strong, healthy children that will carry on my genetic legacy with this person! Because of this, a nice set of six pack abs attract the sexual eye of the opposite gender. All you need is an excuse to get your shirt off!
The next reason is that six pack abs are not just a sign of health, achieving them will mean that you have become healthy! With the exception of crash diets(which by the way, the results do not last!), you have to live a healthy lifestyle to have a six pack. Wanting a six pack promotes good health and good healthy promotes a six pack. Is it not great?
Abdominals are very important in athletics. Controlling your torso with speed and precision is the ultimate key to having agility. Good abs are also the important link in the chain that allows your leg strength to add to your upper body strength and vise versa. This effect is very visible in the world of boxing and has been termed "kinetic linking."
Training and maintaining abdominals means building a lot of other areas up too! It is unavoidable that building up your muscles in one area will cause the rest of your body to want to catch up. You should help this along and develop a complete physique!
Strong, well developed abs work wonders to improve your posture. Having good posture is important to spinal health as your lumbar spine has not supporting intersecting bones- just your lower back and abdominal muscles to keep it erect. Good posture will make you appear(and thus, become) more confident and available socially. This is great for your self confidence and will provide you with opportunities both professionally and romantically that you would not otherwise have.
Getting six pack abs is indeed hard work but I am here to tell you that every bead of sweat is completely worth it! You just need to get started and never quit!
