How to Get Six Pack Abs When You\'re Short on Time

Everybody and their dog wants six pack abs. If it was only a matter of wanting it bad enough, everyone would have a nice set. In fact, they would have already put in the work to get them. Seems that people do not really want them bad enough after all! This article is about how to get six pack abs if you are short on time. Bear in mind that these strategies will only work if you see to it to make them work. In the end, you can only rely on yourself!

The first thing you need to take care of is your diet. No more junk food and no more high carb meals. To have six pack abs you need to be lean and mean! This means having a low body fat% and a lot of dense muscle at the abdomen to show off. In order to support this kind of body, you will need to eat a diet high in protein, moderate in fat, and low in carbs. You need the protein to build muscle, you need the fat for hormone balance and to keep your insulin stable, and carbs are generally bad for your metabolism.

Your training should consist of both cardio and weights. Only doing one is just cheating yourself as the combination is must better than the sum of the parts!

When you do cardio, you should be aiming to push your body to the limit with intensity! Only by doing this can you stimulate serious changes in cardiovascular efficiency. It is also a lot easier on your joints to do short bursts of intense exercise rather than long jogging sessions that drag on for countless hours. Always aim to keep your cardio sessions short and sweet. Anything longer than a half hour is a waste as your body will start to burn muscle for extra energy.

When building muscle, it is a must that you train with resistance that you struggle with. Easy exercises like simple crunches will not get you the crunches that you are looking for. Like cardio, your body will only respond to serious stimulation and your potential lies dormant during anything but the most challenging exercises. You need to train intensely and be done in no more than an hour.

Training abs is simple but not easy! You just have to watch what you eat, run hard, and train hard in the gym. Take care of these three things on a regular basis and you will have six pack abs in no time!
