How to Perfect Your Six Pack Abs Routine

There are a lot of common mistake and misconceptions out there when it comes to achieving six pack abs. There is a ton of misinformation created by people trying to push their products constantly based on this or that "ultimate secret." Six pack abs are really quite simple. You just have to be hard working and persistant and they will be yours for the taking. In this article, I will be outlining how to perfect your six pack abs routine in order to get the real results so many have promised you but failed to deliver on. This is such basic stuff that it will leave you shaking your head thinking about how you got suckered into all this promotional garbage. No need to beat yourself up, these people are professionals and have studied the human mind extensively to program you to think how they want you to. This is why critical thinking is a rare virtue in this day and age.

The biggest one by far is doing thousands of crunches. Not only is this just plain silly, it is a good way to get yourself injured. Modern muscle building science tells up that the best rep range for building muscle is 8-12. This means that you should to and exercise that you and only manage to do that many reps with, and do them. There is no reason why you should be doing twenty or more reps on anything when your aim is to build muscle. That is called endurance training and has a purpose to some, but for actually building muscle it is of no real use. You should be relieved, really. This saves you a lot of time to do the things you want to do. You just have to make it through and intense max effort muscle building workout.

The last thing I want to cover is dieting. You need to avoid being short sighted when it comes to the way you eat. If you eat for weight loss, you will halt your metabolism and end up fatter than ever. If you eat for overall health, your body will naturally lose any excess body fat.

This is especially true with all the muscle building you will be doing. Muscle burns calories and speeds up metabolism just by existing! Remember that the perfect diet is high protein, medium fat, and low carb! That should be catchy enough to stick in your mind!
