My Contour Abs Review - A Closer Look At The Contour Abs Workout Belt

With summer just around the corner, many people these days are looking to achieve a nicely sculpted body for the beach. And of course this is the time of year that tons of new fitness products get released into the market - some of them good and some of them bad.

Contour Abs is one such product being heavily marketed these days, and many people are curious whether this gadget actually works. After reading through a number of Contour Abs reviews and doing a bit of research, I decided to purchase this product to see how it actually works (after all there is a trial offer for it now).

To help all you folks interested in this new gadget, I have put together this brief Contour Abs review to relate my experiences with this product. I will discuss how it works, provide some pros and cons, and also provide you with some resources to make the most of this product should you choose to get it.

How It Works

There are lots of ab sculpting products on the market, and unfortunately many of them don't work. However, the way Contour Abs works is actually quite unique - and supposedly quite effective if done properly.

Basically, it is a belt that you wear on your stomach that stimulates your ab muscles using Electro-Muscle Stimulation (EMS). When you wear this belt, it generates a series of electrical pulses that stimulates your abdominal muscles, thus strengthening them over time. Although I was initially skeptical about directing electrical pulses at my ab muscles, this product has gone through rigorous testing and is FDA approved, which provided me with some reassurance as to its safety.

But of course Contour Abs sounds pretty good in theory. Does it actually work? While it help you achieved ripped abdominal muscles?

My Personal Review

Now I must preface my Contour Abs review by saying that I was originally very skeptical about whether this product would work. I was not a believer in achieving ripped abs the lazy way, but I was willing to see what all the hype was about.

The first time I used it, I adjusted it to my body and turned it on. There are a series of resistance adjustments you can make depending on how heavily you want to work out your muscles. The first setting provided a very gentle pulsing feeling in my abs.

It did not feel like I was getting much of a workout, so I cranked up the settings.

On the highest level, the belt was really pulsing along and I could definitely feel it in my abs. After about 15 minutes my abdominal muscles were starting to get sore. I eventually turned it off and removed the belt. Immediately, I felt that my abs had achieved a good workout. The soreness I felt was similar to the feeling you get after doing a series of crunches or sit-ups.

This was a good sign.

I continued using this product for about a month, following the guide provided with the machine. I should also point out that I started going for jogs regularly and tried to maintain a healthy diet (no junk food, low fat foods, etc.). And after about a month, I started to notice some serious results. My abs were indeed more toned and I was starting to develop that six-pack I used to have back in college - there was still much work to do though!

All in all, I would say that Contour Abs is mostly effective if you're looking for a product to easily sculpt your abs. However, it cannot be done in isolation from other healthy activities. You will not achieve results if you keep eating junk and do not exercise (one helpful Contour Abs review I came across provided great detail on how to accelerate your results with this device).

Conclusion

Contour Abs is an effective way of sculpting your ab muscles as long as you stick to a healthy eating and fitness routine. You do not need to do any other ab excercises while using this belt to achieve ripped abs - but you do need to ensure you're not neglecting other aspects of your health.

If you're looking for a lazy way to achieve abs, then this product is not for you - those products don't exist despite the claims you hear on TV.

If you're serious about achieving ripped abs this summer it can be done. But you need to know what you're getting yourself into by reading Contour Abs reviews and doing a bit of research first so you don't waste your money.

It's difficult to say whether or not the Contour belt actually played a role in the results you were seeing. You mentioned that you started going for jogs regularly and altered your diet. Those are ACTUAL activities that will help you burn off calories and hence, develop your abdominal muscles. From personal experience and scientific evidence, the Contour belt did not contribute to any significant strengthening, weight loss, or "6 pack abs". Remember, there isn't any evidence for spot reduction. Sure, the belt is beneficial for rehabilitation purposes, but it hardly, if at all, makes a difference for individuals looking for real results. Read my review if you're not convinced.
