Six Pack Abs Training In 6 Steps

Training for six pack abs can seem complicated at first. To make it all easier to understand, I will break it down into six simple steps. Keep in mind that with each new step you have to maintain the last one. This is not any sort of "fix," more of a change in lifestyle. Six pack abs training in 6 steps breaks it down into bite size pieces for you so you can take on a little bit more whenever you feel ready. Personally, I tried to do it all at once from the beginning. After many failures from over stressing myself, I realized the error of my ways. These steps are meant to be done in the order presented.

The first step is cardio. You need to have a regular cardio program. Start with doing cardio two-three days out of a week. Cardio should be short and sweet. Do sprints at top speed for as long as you can maintain them with one to two minute breaks in between. A solid cardio routine will stimulate your metabolism and improve your overall health(which also helps with fat loss/muscle gain).

The next step is to cut down on carbs. The less complex an energy source is, the more quickly it is exhausted. You should now be getting most of your energy for the day from protein and healthy fats. Try not to go without carbs completely, however.

Once you get used to a low carb diet, it`s time to start resistance training. While you should focus mainly on your abs, work your whole body to build muscle that will burn fat in a passive manner. Working just on your abs is cheating yourself out of faster progress.

Step number four is to start controlling your eating times. Narrow your meals down to just one or two meals a day and stick with it as a regular schedule. This will increase your insulin sensitivity and therefore your metabolism. If you are already following step two, energy should not be an issue.

Step five is to start writing everything down. This will solidify your plans and ensure you make progress in both your cardio sessions and resistance training. If you ever feel like taking an easy day, just look at your journal and see that you already did this workout last time. it`s time to do it better!

The final step is to learn and continue gaining experience. Not everything can be taught and not everything can be learnt by doing. Continue to learn in every way that you can and you will bypass any plateaus in your training by always having the answer.

Just take on what you can at any given time. Make sure that any step you take on is a real commitment that you will not go back on!
