I have a new program that i found that i want to discuss with you today,it is called No-Nonsense Muscle Building by Vince Del Monte.Vince seems to be one of those guys who really struggled to gain muscle as he was a naturally skinny guy and no matter what advice or program he followed he just could not pack on any muscle for the life of him.He followed the advice, training programs and diets of the experts in the muscle magazines but did not get any significant results and earned himself the nickname of Skinny Vinny.
Sound familiar.?I myself for years read all the muscle magazines and tried to follow the advice of the experts and pro's religiously but just could not seem to get any results. The reason for this is that most of the pro's you see in these magazines are genetically gifted and their bodies respond differently to training than the average guy. Bodybuilders in the 50's and 60's did full body workouts. They would train maybe only 3 or 4 times a week, allowing the muscle enough time to grow and the rest of the systems in the body to also recover fully before the next intense workout.
When steroids came along it changed the whole game drastically. You could now do more workouts, train longer and harder. It therefore makes sense that if you do not use steroids or you are not genitically gifted most of these workouts will not work for you.I am not saying that all the pro's or all the champion bodybuilders out there are using steroids and that is how they achieved success. These guys do train really hard and are very disciplined which i respect as they will do anything it takes to achieve those amazing bodies.
I am merely writing this article from the point of view of the average guy who wants to add some quality muscle without the use of drugs. You can build an impressive physique by training correctly and by following the correct meal plan. You might not be the next Mr. Olympia but you will be able to build an impressive physique that turns heads.I view streroids more as the cherry on top as i don't believe that you will build a quality physique by using drugs alone.Without the correct diet and training you won't get far.
You have to train in a specific way to stimulate muscle growth.Doing 1 -2 reps max on all your workouts, wont give you much muscle growth. You will experience more strength gains, while the muscle growth you experience will be more of a side effect.
You you must either be abe to do more reps or increase the weight from one workout to the next.Muscles only grow by way of progressive overload. You must constantly train heavier and be able recover from the stress placed on your muscles by heavy and intense workouts. Give your muscle enough rest in between workouts to recuperate and grow. That is why doing only 3-4 workouts per week maximises you recuperation and musce growth. You also have to be careful not to do too many sets and reps without enough intensity, that is volume training with light weights and not training to failure for instance or resting too long in between sets.
All of this is explained in detail in his program and contains specific step by step workouts and diet plans so nothing is left to chance.
