Protein helps feed muscle production and burn off fat. Protein can be found in many foods but it is higher concentrated in certain things. If using protein powders are not economical enough for you to start gaining muscle and losing fat you can always eat foods that protein is more present in. A good source of protein is white meats, eggs, tuna, and some beans. If you incorporate these in your diet more this will also help feed the muscle and burn off that stubborn fat.

The next thing you need to do is find out how many calories you should intake to start gaining muscle and losing fat. Everyone's body is different and requires different things. If you want to pack on lean muscle mass it is best to intake as many calories as you can but always have enough protein to burn off the excess fat.

Now that you have your diet set out you have to exercise to see the right results. To build muscle and burn fat you want to first start by developing a workout plan. You can use a mixture of cardio exercises to help yourself stretch and prepare your body for a more intense weight workout. It is always important not to over do it as you can end up injurying your muscle, settting you back on your entire goal.

So this is the basics of what consist of a successful body transformation. It starts with a proper diet that is packed with protein for rapid muscle growth, then appropriate exercise.
