Anything an anything can be broken down into a science. What this means is that the process of trial and error can be performed by some unlucky soul to get the answers they are looking for. Luckily for us, this has been done countless times with regard to getting six pack abs.The science of six pack abs is very simple and covers major areas. The first is gaining muscle to show off. The second is revealing that muscle by losing the fat that covers the abdominal area. Both processes are very well studied and with science on your side, you can never fail! Or you can fail catastrophically, the beauty of science is it is constantly evolving and will constantly revise itself and improve. Be wary of those who claim to have ALL the answers for they are not true scientists!
Now then, to build muscle it is generally accepted that you should do exercises that you can only do around 12 reps with with your best effort. You should do these reps for 3-5 sets with about a minute break in between. Do this with 3-4 exercises that cover different angles in order to develop your abdominals in a complete manner that will not leave any weak points in your physique. You will want to get some meat in your diet(you can use eggs but it is not as good) so your body can regenerate and grow with each workout.
Losing fat can be the most difficult of all! You will have to make your body work with you and not against you. This is where so many are led astray. You will not accomplish much by chasing after numbers of burnt calories or trying to do so many miles on the treadmill. This is just silly because your body is not a dump truck. You need to make a long term change in your lifestyle to illicit a long term change in body composition. The best way to do this is to start eating healthy. This means eating whole foods like meat and leafy green vegetables.
Do not forget to do your cardio either! Do intense cardio to stimulate your metabolism and make your body more eager to lose fat and gain muscle. The best kind of intense cardio is sprints. With sprints, you can put in your maximum effort every time. The only limit is your mind and your body meaning you will never have a need for anything more!
Good luck! Just kidding, science does not need luck!
