Things You Should Know Before Hitting the Gym…

It is every guy’s dream to develop a muscular six-pack body, an aesthetic physique just like the very hot fitness models. Becoming ARNOLD or the ripped BRUCE LEE is not an easy process. Not everyone can easily gain an attractive body. It requires a great amount of commitment, training plan and most importantly the right diet routine. Yes of course this is possible to follow it, but it is important for you to know your body type at first. You might have noticed that your friend easily gains body muscle whereas you can’t. The reason for this is you belong to different body type. There are three kinds of body type a person can belong to:

• ECTOMORPS

• MESOMORPHS

• ENDOMORPHS

ECTOMORPHS:

Ectomorphs usually look extremely thin with long legs and arm, small waistline, thin joints with zero fat body. They have rapid fast metabolism and almost anything they eat gets digested easily. Ectomorphs can easily gain lean muscles and develop a ripped body. The most important aspect of an ectomorph training is that they need to consume three times more calories than the usual.

Merits:

• They gains lean muscle easily

• They are athletic and excels in sport activities

• Excels in muscle bulking

Demerits:

• Difficulty in gaining weight.

• Required a higher protein consumption

• Need to concentrate on higher weight training

An ectomorph diet must contain proteins, carbohydrates fats and additional nourishment for vitamins and minerals for the body. Protein supplements can be taken on consultation with a proper nutritionist.

MESOMORPHS:

The mesomorphs are naturally muscular with strong body and good shape. They have good muscles with less or not fat. They are categorized by wide chest and narrow waist. Mesomorphs gain muscle almost as well as an endomorph, and lose fat almost as well as an ectomorph. In fact, mesomorphs are the people who are often just naturally muscular and lean without putting any time or effort into a diet or workout. They can transform into a great fitness model easily. Most of the top athletes on the planet fit into this category of body types. Mesomorphs are genetically gift with best athletic fitness a body can perform. They are pretty much the best at doing anything related to improving how their body looks or performs.

Merits:

• They have Ideal metabolic rate which is not too fast, not too slow.

• A perfect bone structure.

• They can be called “slim” rather than skinny

• An appealing muscular physique.

• Naturally athletic

ENDOMORPHS:

Endomorphs are considered to be among the pathetic body type. They are categorized as the body with higher fat storage, high strength, resistance and naturally stronger outlook. They can lift higher weights easily and has more advantages than ectomorphs and mesomorphs. They possess prolonged energy level and endurance due to excess glucose stored as fat. They have bulky chest and wide hips and well developed short legs and arms. The pathetic nature of endomorph is that they have slow metabolism. Excess food gets converted as glycogen and stored in the area around the hips and lower abdomen. This makes them appear shapeless. Endomorphs require a restricted diet plan in terms of cut down on sugars, carbohydrates and fats. Carbohydrates are enemies of endomorphs. However, good carbs and fat sources are also essential for energy.

An endomorph workout should focus on intense cardio sessions to burn the excess fat. It is important to be calorie deficit so that excess glycogen is not stored. Calorie intake must be lesser that calories burnt. Weight training needs to be with lesser weights and increased repetitions. This helps to burn fat easily.
