When I first heard the word blogging I thought it was posting a blurb on the net to give your opinion, I was wrong. When I tried to figure this out, I found to my amazement it was just not a few words, you could write as much or as little as you want.

So we come to the question as what is blogging or a blog. Blogging is a discussion on any topic under the sun, it is information posted on a website on the internet. From all that I have read it appears that blogging is the best and easiest way to make money online. Many people make a living by just blogging. For those wanting to make extra money blogging could be their answer.

A blog is your personal diary on any subject. It could be a political discussion,personal diary, your daily foray into any topic, could be politics, a breaking story, your thoughts, or just something that caught your interests and you want to share. It is like opening your diary to the world.

There are no real rules for blogging, as they say anything goes. There are a million of blogs posted daily . If you are able to grabs the attention and get a following then you are all set. It will determine that you are successful in this space.

Blog as we commonly refer to, is the shortened version of weblog. In layman's terms a blog is basically a website, where you write or give your opinion on an daily or ongoing basis. The new things you write about show up at the top, so that any one visiting your site can read what is new. If they like or differ with your opinion they can leave a comment link your blog, to another blog, website or send you an email.

Your blog allows you to state your opinion and this has shaped the way of politics, industry and has been the rise and fall of many institutions.

To get the word out quickly and effectively journalists use blogging to draw attention to their article, situations or any breaking news. I believe that blogging has not yet reached its full potential. I do not know much about WordPress, but the word on the internet is that a WordPress site is set up like a blog by default. It has a blog page as the main page, and one regular web page. This can can be changed t suit your needs.

So you may ask what is the difference between a website and a blog? I needed to know the answer too and in my search I discovered that it was not much different. There is really no line that can demarcate between a blog and a website. Most websites have a blog page,and most blogs have at least a few pages, such as a contact page and an about us page. If the landing or main page of the site is has a page of the latest posts, then it appears to be a site that is a blog.

The About Us page profiles the blogger and this will let you find people and blogs that are of interests to you. On this page you can list your blogs in reverse chronological order, in your different interests. You can make yourself as easily accessible as you want. You also control who can read and write to your blog . You can blog for just your friends or give access to the world, so your opinion is shared.

Controls let you decide who can read and who can write to your blog. Blogs can have different focuses it could have different interest showcased, such as, home designs, sports, mobile phones, latest electronic or web design, articles others can be more of personal journals, your likes and dislikes or the your daily life and experiences. They can be categorized to make it easier to access.

After you set up your blog are interested in earning some money just these sites as they have been used by many bloggers.
