Finish Lunch and Be Active Daily

I woke up this morning with my list of what I needed to get done. I decided number one on my list this morning and every morning should be to be active daily.

I had thought to myself that this would not be an easy task because I enjoy exercising, but don't always find the time to take care of it. That was a misinterpretation of what I needed to do.

Exercise is a great thing, but you can mix being active in with everything else you do during the day. So, turns out I found that my morning was chock full of ways to be active daily. I walked my dog, I played with him, I played some hoops with my son, I went to the store and made it a point to park on the other side of the lot to get some extra walking in, I walked around the store, and did some painting.

So, then during lunch I was trying to think of any other ways I could be active during the day. I thought of a few things, and just as I was finishing up my turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread my buddy called and asked if I wanted to play a round of golf.

You know when I woke up and was trying to figure out how to be active daily I thought it was going to be painful. If going out and playing a round of golf is painful, I didn't realize it. Well, sometimes it can be painful, depending on what your score is. I decided to walk the course instead of riding in a cart. So, I finish up and it was a good day for golf.

When I get home, there's a note on the fridge, went to the pool. It's a summer day so it's pretty toasty outside. I decide to go to the pool and cool down. After playing a bit in the pool it's time to go home. Wow, who knew being active daily could be such fun.

I think everyone should be active daily. It could take the stress out of your life and also help you to enjoy the things that you should be enjoying; playing with your kids, taking your dog for a walk, playing your favorite sport, getting in a walk. Be active daily and you will find out what you've been missing. You may not realize that all that fun stuff you did during the day was exercise. You may not have been lifting weights or doing sit ups or push ups but you were burning calories.

Being active daily is a great way to be fit. You can do fun stuff to exercise and you'll find that there is no pain involved. Try to be active daily for healthy weight loss.
