Since my last article on the 6 ways to find your niche, I have been doing some research to see if I can write about all the jobs available and put some notes down on what are the requirements on the various positions that are available.
Since the subject is vast and varied I will list all that I have researched and if I do not have then all listed, I suggest that you can get back to me with your suggestions and opinions by listing your comments on the article so that I can answer them or find them out by yourself.
In my article on social media niches I touched on the Social Media Manager's position. This position is for a person who likes to work and play on the social media portals like Facebook,Twitter, linked in and other sites like these. You will have to be constantly connected to the hip with your computer or wireless gadget and ready to answer or respond to any queries, comments and suggestions. So an active person who enjoys working sometimes under pressure, has a sense of humor and a thick skin will be well suited for this job.
The other niche is the Paid to Write articles. There are a lot of companies looking for people who have writing skills and able to write short messages or description of products, jingles that catch the public attention to a product or service.
Re-writers are in demand. This came as a surprise to me. These are people that take an article and change the wording make it appealing and polish it to meet standards.
Data Entry is another field where this could be good for people looking to supplement income by working part time or full time.
Designing websites is for those who are artistic and can help a company grab the attention of people viewing their site. It is a good niche for graphic designers who want to work from home. meeting deadlines will be the key for these jobs.
Translators are in high demand due to the global economy. If you are proficient in English and any other language it will be an asset as most documents have to be translated verbatim.
Taking Surveys is another source of income. Surveys are sent out to you and if you meet the criteria you are asked to complete the survey. After the survey has been approved you get paid.
Some companies pay people to promote their websites to get traffic. Traffic gets interest in the company and that transmits into sales.
Filling forms for companies is another niche. Finding this job is a bit of a stretch as there are only a few companies that offer this.
I hope that this article enlightens readers to of some of the positions available. My advice is to do some research on the company you are applying to, get references as all this is negotiated online and you need to work for a honest company that will compensate you fairly for your time and effort.
