Invest In Spanish Property Before It Is Too Late!

Now is the best time to invest in Spanish property especially in the regions of South Costa Blanca and the Costa Calida area of Murcia.

The Spanish government has put in place strict austerity plans to repair the damage of overspending during the property boom years. The banks have been told that they can only borrow money if they sell of their housing stock at an acceptable value and quickly. The chief executives of banks have also been told that if they borrow money then their salaries will be capped.

Spain has not only instilled these austerity plans, they have also invested in projects to increase tourism in the area. Firstly, Europe’s second largest theme park will be built in Murcia. Paramount resort theme park Murcia is expected to increase visitor numbers to the region by over 3 million per year. Once the first stone is laid in May 2012, I expect property prices to rise quickly. The theme park is due to be completed by Easter 2015.

A new international airport has been built in Corvera, Murcia. Corvera International airport, Murcia will service the new theme park and the south Costa Blanca and costa Calida, Murcia regions.

In south Costa Blanca, the largest shopping mall in Europe is being built. La Zenia boulevard shopping centre will create 1800 direct jobs and 3000 indirect jobs for the region. The shopping mall will be open in November 2012.

Not only will all of this investment increase property value. It will also increase the need for rental properties. Holiday rental properties will be needed for the increased tourism to the area. Also long term rentals will be needed for the construction workers of the Paramount resort theme park. Once the theme park is open there will be a huge number of staff that will need property to live in. The International airport in Corvera, Murcia will have a number of staff that will need long term rentals in the first instance before they decide where or whether to settle.

The La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre as I have said before will need 1800 staff in the mall itself. The majority of these staff will come from outside the area and will need property to rent close by.

Take a look at property for sale in Spain to see the bargain investments to be had.
