Perhaps you know someone with cancer. You have noticed his weight loss, and he has complained to you about how tired he feels. What can you do?
One thing that you can do is spend time with him. With treatment, he may be able to beat his disease. He will then be able to live longer, do many of the things that he wants to do, and spend more time with his friends and family. In addition to visiting with your loved one, there are other ways that you can help someone who has this disease.
A second way to help is to participate in or organize a charity walk for cancer. Survivors of the disease and anyone else who is interested can participate in the event to show support. The walk will likely be held on a Saturday, which will allow many people the time to attend. You can join them, hopefully be blessed with nice weather, get a good workout, and support a great cause.
Cancer is horrible, and learning that a loved one has the disease is devastating. If you learn that a special person in your life has cancer, you will likely feel angry, sad, and scared. Deal with these feelings by talking with someone, such as a family member, friend, or priest. These methods of coping with the situation are healthy and will not bother anyone.
Do not wear clothing that bears obscene messages about the disease. If you wear this clothing in a family establishment, such as a mall or a restaurant, you will be asked to leave. People who visit these places want a pleasant experience. Those who go to the mall might want to walk in a comfortable environment, or they might want to shop for items that they are interested in, such as new CDs from their favorite artists. They might also want to buy a pretzel and a cup of coffee, sit down, and enjoy their refreshments. At a restaurant, patrons want an enjoyable dining experience. They expect clean tables and good service. They know that people around them will want to talk. It is important to be respectful of others, however. People do not want to see or hear obscenities. Please save them for your diary or journal. There, you can write what you like.

Hi Hollie....I just wanted to let you know that there is a noninvasive healthy cure for cancer and you can find it at salvestrol dot ca which is Canada of course you cannot buy it in this country because here cancer is a billion dollar business.....best to you and yours....k
Very cool! I appreciate the info, & thanks for reading! :)
Hollie, as one that has lived with a cancer suffer for 20 years, (my wife having had 3 different cancers) it is so important to listen to them when there is an out pouring of the horror of suffering from the disease. It is also important to make as light of it as possible. My wife has smiled and laughed throughout her experiences, the chemo, radiation hormone block treatment (5 years of the block that at times I think makes them worse off than the cancer) and every other treatment that can be administered. It is not easy for them, yet constant support and admiration is totally necessary. But you brought up one point that is near to my heart, the loved one, they suffer as much as the cancer sufferer, and support of them by friends and family is just as important. So many friends avoid people when the big C is mentioned.. and this I can tell you is wrong, rather be there for them, they don't always want to talk about the cancer but most times just need the friendship and company a visit gives... good article..
So sorry to hear about your wife. I wish her well. Thank you for reading.
