With most ventures that you undertake, its safe to say that there is an easy way and a hard way. We all learn the most when doing things the hard way, though! Needless to say, this is not usually by choice. Creating passive income online can be achieved in many different ways, but I'd like to explain what I believe is the easiest way, four reasons why it's the easiest and where to find such an opportunity.
There are many different ways in earning a passive income. These range from living off of the interest from your bank account, to renting out your house. Creating an income stream through interest on your bank account may be the easiest to manage but to get to that point is difficult. You need a lot of capital to be in such a position. I just wanted to point out that when I refer to the easiest way, I mean from start to finish, holistically. Having said that, I believe that the easiest way to creating a recurring income stream is to opt for the method of Subscription Services. Your income system is based on the fact that you would refer others to also subscribe to the service, bringing you a monthly commission. Usually this principle is applied to many levels, giving one a very lucrative opportunity. There are however a few things that you have to consider.
Since you are subscribing to something, you want your subscription service to be valuable so that should you need time to build your income stream, you will not be discouraged by having to remain subscribed to the service. In other words, the subscription that you have opted for should be in place, whether the income part is successful or not. You should be able to carry on with your subscription if you are not generating an income. This has huge potential because you will be discouraged by your own subscription and this motivates you at a level that you may not even be aware of.
Your subscription should be priced right, in terms of commission structure and membership fees. If for instance, your subscription costs you $10 per month and your commission is 50c, you would need to refer 20 direct members in order to cover your own membership. After all, that is when your passive income system actually kicks in. In hindsight, if you paid $50 every month but got $5 commission, you would only need 10 direct referred members. This is great but here you need to take the costs into account. You may need to refer less people but you still end up paying a much larger fee. The question is: does this fee support your strategy for referring others? Are others prepared to pay that amount for the service? I found that the smaller the monthly fee, the better for everyone.
Is the product worth subscribing to? Besides the subscription being valuable for yourself, you want to make sure that people actually value the product and that there is a need/demand for it. For instance, who doesn't watch television? If you subscribed to a new TV channel, you may easily find others also interested in this service. Now, lets change the subscription service to a ballerina magazine...! I would have to say that for me, it would be easier to refer people who watch TV than it would be to refer ballerina fans. Honestly, no offence to ballerinas! I am just trying to point out that if you yourself are not a fan of your own subscription, why would you expect others to be?
Lastly, I'd like to mention the fact that if your subscription service is local, you cannot refer people from outside your country. If the product must be posted to you by mail every month, you may have a logistical nightmare waiting for you when you start referring people. What I am saying here is that the Internet can play a major role in securing your success. If you can generate a passive income stream from an online source, that would be ideal. As an example, motivational services can provide you with products online. They simply send you an email or PDF eBook or provide you with a member's area where you are free to explore.
So just to recap - you should look at the value of the product, the price, the product itself and whether a seemless system can be provided (the Internet being one way). The best scenario would be for you to subscribe to the service without any hesitation, simply because you want it and not because you want to make money! This has a massive impact on everything, especially you.
To build an income stream like this is not the easiest thing to do. However, it is possible. All you need really is a product that you use anyway, which you can promote to other people and refer them to the same service. You should also be promoting the value that others can get from the service and not promote your own success.
