Many employees want to earn more money. By earning more, they can provide for their family. They can buy what they need. They can buy some of the things that they want. Finally, they can do some of the things that they want to do. There are several ways for employees to earn more money from their jobs.
First, they should act like they are happy to have their job. Come in to work smiling. Be happy to be there. Jobs are scarce, and many people would love to get up and go to work each day. If a worker seems unhappy, the supervisor can quickly replace him with someone who wants to be there. In addition to watching their attitude while at work, there are also other ways for employees to be more successful at work: ask for and accept more hours.
Many people who have jobs are eager for the end of the day. They look forward to saying goodbye to their coworkers, going to the time clock, clocking out, and heading home. Those who want to keep their jobs should not be so eager to leave, however. If the supervisor needs some help, and he asks an employee if he can stay, the employee should say yes. By staying, he will earn more money. He will also show the supervisor that he is cooperative and eager to help, which will get him a good recommendation later on, if he needs one. There is also one other way for people to do better at work, and it pertains to health. Quit smoking.
Smokers cost their company money. They ask for smoke breaks, and many of them get sick and have to take time off from work. Also, nonsmoking coworkers do not want to spend much time with work buddies who smoke, because their breath and clothing stink. If these individuals quit smoking, however, they can do better at work. They will not need smoke breaks, which will allow them to gain more experience. Also, the individuals they work with will be more willing to work with them, which will allow everyone involved the opportunity to build strong relationships.
Finally, by quitting smoking, employees will be able to enjoy a longer life. Living longer will allow them more time to succeed at work, do activities that they enjoy, and spend time with loved ones.
If you are a smoker, quit today. It may be difficult to give up your habit. You will be glad that you did, however, because your life will improve. You will also find that you can save money by not smoking, which should make you feel good. Have a great day. Look forward to a long, successful career and a healthier life.
I used to work for a company that doesn't employ smokers, lol. I think it is a great move and yes, smokers costs the company a lot - time lost from taking smoking breaks, mood swings when they don't smoke, getting sick more often, etc. Hollie, just a suggestion: might be a good idea to pin a picture to the articles so that readers can pin them to pinterest and increase yr readership, thanks.
Awesome! Great idea. Thanks, and thanks for reading. :)
