Creative Cash By Barbara Brabec

I have the sixth edition of Creative Cash by Barbare Brabec. This is a pleasant book on how to profit from your creativity. I put it in the Careers category, but I suppose it could have gone in the Business category.

I always liked to work with my hands, but I think I would have been happier with just that, the idea of making a finished product with my own two hands and being done with it. But I thought I could get business-like and that threw me for a loop. I realized how uncomfortable it is dealing with people face to face. Other people can do it and I guess you just need the right personality. I don't have that. Anyway, I purchased this book. I certainly don't regret it. I could still use whatever talents I have (here you can laugh) and sell stuff on the web. Now I could do that.

For the right personality, with or without the computer, this is an ideal book to take you from extending your craft to selling it. Barbara touches on being professional. Insurance, Tax, Dedcutions. And how to sell your fine toothed comb at Fairs, Home Shop, Malls. And let us not forgot, the favorite, writing how-to articles.

The book reflects on how to sell your product to demonstrating it. That stuff in the face to face world is not for the shy. I suppose if you are shy and determined, it can be done. Anything can be done and I certainly wouldn't want to discourage anyone who would want to sell their product in the showing world. I just know my limits.

And when I first got a computer, which was actually for my daughter, I was scared of it. But my Creative Cash edition speaks of building your own website and selling on the web. Some people were just meant to do that stuff!

Barbara Brabec's website is wonderful with her growing with the computer age. She is a busy person and must be enjoying the making of crafts and her book and being successful with it.

I truly like this book, though I seem to be reminded of all my downfalls. But it is a great source for anyone starting anew or looking for tips. You will find it in Creative Cash. So if you wonder if there's a talent burning inside you wanting to escape, visit the website and cash in on the Creative Cash book and enjoy.
