The probability of tossing a coin and it showing a particular side up each time it comes to rest is 50/50. This means that, no matter how many times we throw it, half of the time it will end one side up and the other 50% it will be the other. None the less, there is the possibility of changing the outcome of every shot by just willing it, and I have tried this several times with similar results in every occasion. I am not expecting you to believe me just like that, instead you may try this experiment on your own.
This experiment will measure your ability to influence future events by means of the power of your mind. You will need a regular coin, like a quarter dollar, a piece of paper and a pen. Start by drawing a vertical line in the middle of the paper dividing it in two sections. Then label one side as heads and the other tails. Once you have done this, prepare your self to toss the coin 20 times. A couple of seconds before you throw the coin, see it in your mind as clearly as possible coming out heads. Mark on the paper every time it comes out heads. Repeat the experiment again but this time visualizing tails coming out. Take notice too about the number of times it becomes real.
According to the theory of probability the odds are 50/50 like I said before. Inspite of that you will notice that from the first 20 shots you get more heads than tails and the second time it will be more tails than heads. If you like, repeat all the experiment with out visualization at all and compare the results.
I am aware that there will be many people arguing that some how we physically affected the results since we were throwing the coins our selves. Well, this is very easily refutable: repeat the experiment, asking someone else to throw the coins at your command without telling them about the process or the goal of the experiment. The first time I tried it, the results were like 70% heads/30% tails and vice versa for both parts of the experiment.
I have never tried this at a casino but I hope one time I will. I guess it might be fun. I am not much of a gambler and I do not advocate gambling either, unless it is done for fun only, not with the express intention to make a profit, which generally might cause some people to become addicted to betting and gambling.
Gambling and betting may be fun if they are approached with the right strategy, like when I used to enjoy horse track racing at the Golden Gate Park in California, back in the 90's. Generally I would reserve 50 dollars exclusively to have fun and enjoy the event, placing some bets on horses, or to be more precise: I would place my bets based on the statistics of the jockey some times.
In every occasion, no matter how things turned out, either I would loose the 50 dollars and have fun, or make some 10, 20, 50 or 100 more and have fun. In any case I would not spend more than the original 50 dollars. By the way, I mentioned this because I used to try to influence the results by willing them with the exact same process of visualization mentioned before. The fun part is that most often, I would go back home with more than my original 50 dollars.
I know that there is no way to know for sure if those were just the results of pure chance or if I did in fact, some how influenced the results, so the best way to find out is to try it yourself. Good luck to all.
