My cat Skiibowski is the lickiest cat I have ever seen. He will lick himself to death, this is alway's done when he is ready to lay down or go to sleep. Then he will get up to lick himself even more. The funny thing is he is not a soft cute quiet kind of cat while licking, he is loud, sloppy, and slurpy.
If you ask me, it sound's kinda gross. Just think of someone eating hot soup and all you hear is the slurping sound in your ear. Skiibowski doesn't care but just when you think it is over, "I don't think so".
If I decide to take an afternoon nap or just lay to relax, he will lay right on top of my legs or bumped right up next to my ear. I sit there and look at him and say ok, how long is this slurp bath going to go on? He has to be the cleanest cat in New Jersey.
The time he decides to do this, I am thinking to myself, is my house that dirty? Milky is calm, not as loud and doesn't take forever when she cleans herself. I make it a joke and said Skiibowski should be named Slurbowski instead of Skiibowski.
He sits like a little man waiting for the controller and a beer, it cracks me up. I am noticing things I never did before when I had cats 10 to 12 years ago. I guess where my lifestyle was more active and busy I never really knew what cats were like.
My children were always playing with the cats so I never really took part except buying the food and treats. Anyone reading this article have cat's? Do you know if the snorty slurping sound is in the male cat's only?
He is like a person with no manner's, "really". I watch how prim and proper his sister sits and acts even the way she just looks at you. He burps, passes gas, growls, sneaky, and greedy. The reason for this article is to get some feedback on if anyone out there has a cat that cleans themselves forever and loud.
Well, it will take some getting used to with laughs and giggles. This does not mean I will treat one better than the other by no means. I just look at Tom and say your son is just like you! "piggy". Of course I'm teasing I always do. So when I give you kisses Slurbowski I mean Skiibowski I love you and Milky equal.
This is my 30th article for the 30 day challenge and I can honestly say I had a good time writing from my heart about my two cat's Skiibowski and Milky. I am going to continue writing to get better and better. By the time a year passes, hopefully we all can keep following each other to learn off each other and keep posted on the articles from one to another.
"He sits like a little man waiting for the controller and a beer"....LOL
Awww, Skiibowski might be itchy from an allergy. Sometimes cats are allergic to pollens and certain foods. You can check it out with a vet, or call Warren Eckstein on the Pet Show, WOR Radio. I bet Eckstein can help you. Congrats on completing the challenge. Good going.
Well done on the 30 to 30. Great article and as always, a joy to read.
What a cute and very enjoyably readable article, Katie! Having grown up with cats I will say they all have very individual personalities!! My blue persian lived for 18 years and was considered an "over groomer" too. He was permanently brown from where his saliva had reacted with the sun. Definitely not show material but very loveable .... and sometimes a little smelly! lol
Well done on the completion of the 30 30 challenge. I must admit it helped me develop my writing skills and the reward is well worth it. I enjoy your stories so keep going.
